Hotel Information

The hotel is located on Ann Siang Hill, one of Singapore's historic enclaves in Chinatown, and within the central business district. Opened in December 2004, the establishment occupies a row of preserved shop houses dating back to 1868, and an original 1924 art deco building, all joined together and converted into a boutique residence. Interiors are mainly black, gold and scarlet red, giving the whole place a Victoria's Secret boudoir feel. It has 84 rooms in total, and dining options include a bar with a grey mirror clad ceiling, which serves premium wines, champagnes and exotic cocktails. The Mediterranean-style, open terrace bar and restaurant located on the roof, offers refreshing salads, fresh shellfish platters and an array of grilled and barbequed meats and seafood.

Staff really helpful in finding us a room prior to 9 am after a long flight.None really apart from smallish rooms and tiny windows with no view, but we knew that before we booked so it did not come as a shock. 3.5 star ratingWent to stay at Scarlet Hotel with my wife during the SG50 long weekend. The room itself is not so big but we feel very cozy and it is good for us. What we like most is the washroom. My wife loves the layout and even suggest that we emulate the same for our new house! The location of the hotel is excellent and it is easy for us to navigate around.Was hoping to try their roof-top restaurant but it is not open yet so a bit disappointed. Hopefully there will be a chance for us to check out their new restaurant.Anonymous 12 August 2015

3.5 star ratingLocation great, next to Maxwell food court and Chinatown. Lovely old buildings around. The hotel itself is beautiful decorated. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is modern. The rooftop bar was under renovation so did not get the chance to use it.The room is certainly small. Hard to move around especially with the few luggages I had.
