4.5 star ratingStaff at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the facilities and proximity to town. Food was lovely and bed/duvet were fab. Slept really well. Only small but.. Not enough staff on bar in the evening. We were left waiting a while as they were left to deal with drinks and food, but they were really friendly. Also thought the rest of the furniture in our room was a little basic, and our tv remote didn't work! 04 March 2011

4.5 star ratingWe only stayed the night but the hotel was perfect. Conveniently only 5 minutes from the city centre and train station it suited our needs. High standards of cleanliness and the staff couldn't of been nicer. Our evening meal made our trip even better and had one of the best deserts we've tasted in a long time. We will definitely be returning to the Gresham in Cork again.D Murray18 March 2013
4.5 star ratingLiked our stay at The Metropole Hotel in Cork. Its very central, just a 7 minute walk from the centre of the city. Room was reasonable size, very clean and well furnished. Bathroom facilities were also good. Nice bar 'The Met' and lovely lobby and sitting areas around the hotel. The pool and sauna, jacuzzi etc were first class too.It's an old hotel and some (who love modern) might not find it to their liking but we loved the old world charm.Michael15 July 2016
