5.0 star ratingvery pleasant and helpful staff. lovely food and always hot. great views over the city. have plenty of leaflets etc about places to visit.from the train or bus station it's quite a walk up a steep hill, would recommend getting a taxi there (about 8euros from the bus station) or the number 8 bus which stops around the corner by st lukes cross and you have about a five minute (if that) walk to the hotel.03 October 2008

4.5 star rating* big, pretty and clean room * balcony and view * we had the 'please do not disturb' sign on our door all the time so they left us a bag full of clean towels everyday and we get more of toiletries when we asked * near the city centre and buses to/from the airport * breakfast was ok, professional staff in the restaurant* no wifi in our room even though it supposed to be in the entire hotel - receptionist had no idea about it. * no adapters in the room - possible to loan one from reception but they wanted it back as soon as possible * we didn't expect that the hotel would be placed on that big hill :) * breakfast could be more diverseFiona21 March 2013
4.0 star ratingVery nice hotel from the outside and inside common areas. Good food at the restaurant, we had both dinner and breakfast.Room was very small, you could not get around the bed with the chairs in the room.Loved Ireland22 August 2013
3.5 star rating1. Room very cold on arrival (late afternoon). Had to ring reception for heating to be switched on. Took some while for room to warm up. 2. On first use, shower was cold. Had to ring reception to remedy. Was not aware that it would take some time to heat up. First shower of remaining days took 15 minutes for water to heat to acceptable temperature. 3. Following visit to room by staff (while we were out) to check towel rail which was cold thereby leaving wet towels damp and cold for next use (not resolved), could not get into room as entry cards didn't work. Had to wait for new cards. 4. Asked reception if they could get car hire prices; was promised call to room - no call (this happened with 2 different members of staff). Staff very apologetic; left on good terms.First time stayer05 February 2015
