5.0 star ratingAt last, a hotel in the British Isles that offers American comfort and value for money. Welcoming, efficient, well furnished, and with a restaurant that achieves culinary excellence (fresh seafood in the evening, unlimited Irish breakfast buffet) without being pretentious. I'll be back. 5.0 star ratingNice modern hotel. Lovely location, very handy for shopping and walks. We had a good room (640) with balcony and views to the river both sides. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and pleasant, helpful staff. Liked the magazine in the room - nice touch.None really - nothing that would put us off coming again. The only "but" was that the Kudos Bar (where we were planning to eat in the evening) was heaving with partygoers (Hen night crowd and sports fans I think) and there wasn't a chance of getting a table. But there were plenty of other eateries nearby. Luckily our room was a long from the bar so we weren't even disturbed by the party atmosphere down below.09 July 2013
