2.5 star ratingFriendly and helpful staffthe room smelled foisty, found it differcult to sleep because of that. The decorating was of a very low standard and looked shabby26 February 2009
4.5 star ratinggreat location & pricenone10 April 2009
3.0 star ratingThe room was clean, parking available (seems secure enough - there is a police presense in this area). Compares to 3 star hotels in Paris. Good value for money for travelers. It covers the basics as expected. Was surprised to see a hair dryer and trouser press in my room as I did not expect those. There is a kettle for coffee. Fire alarm bell in room went off at 2:30 am on first night of stay. This might be due to someone smoking in a room, but who cares - it still wake me up and I could not sleep much further. The food is adequete for the price, but not tasty. The carpets in the hotel seem very old and as such feels dirty (although it might be cleaned).Chris21 June 2010
4.5 star ratingI had read all the negative reviews about this hotel and was expecting the worse. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. yes the corridors are a bit dowdy but our room was clean and fresh, the bathroom was clean and fresh and the breakfast although quite basic was hot and plentifull with friendly staff. Its not the ritz but for what we paid it was great value for money. I would deff stay there again. Its central and plenty of car parking spaces. It seems that they are upgrading the hotel and some parts are closed off, this in no effected the parts that were operational.01 June 2010
1.0 star ratingThe hotel was disgusting, the room smelt awful and the beds had not been changed and there were stains over the walls it was really disgusting. We asked for a refund but the receptionist said she could not give us one as we booked on the internet so I got nor refund and had to leave as I could not stay in such filth. Would it be possible for you to arrange a refund. Thanks You01 June 2010

1.0 star ratingthere are no positives about 5this hotel. The website is totally misleading . The hotel is very run down and dirty. The carpets are grubby and the wallpaper is ripped. The drawer in the bedroom was broken with no front to it .There was mud lying in the lift .There was a fight in the middle of the night in the adjoining room and the fire alarm went off an hour later when someone was smoking in the room.It would appear that the council also use this hotel for homeless people which we were not informed of and is not on the website. We did inform the hotel that this was the worst hotel we had ever stayed in .In the circumstances I feel that we should receive our money back or compensation of some sort. You should remove this hotel from your site immediately. 16 January 2012
1.0 star ratingNone!! Really bad, I paid £37 for a double room which shouldve been £70 and it's not worth the money. Yes I got it cheaper but the room smelt of smoke, the light fittings were hanging off the wall. There was NO hot water just cold, staff couldnt care less! I wouldnt recommend this hotel, it's more like a hostel if not worse.109 January 2012
1.5 star ratingThis was the worst hotel I have stayed in for years. The room was very small for a double; the vinyl floor was peeling up in the bathroom; there was clear see through glass in the bathroom with a view into the bathroom from the hotel next door; the pipes to the radiator in the bedroom was rusty and stained; the walls were dirty; the bed was the least comfortable I have slept in since I was hostelling 22 years ago.RTB13 March 2012
2.5 star ratingNothing to sayPossibly our worst hotel experience. The hotel looked far from finished, carpets were ripped in most places, ceilings had lots of holes and lots of water Charlie12 March 2012
3.0 star ratingVery friendly and helpful staff. 12 o'clock check out on a Sunday meant we could sleep in for a bit longer. The room was advertised as having wi-fi but on arrival we were notified it was only available at the reception and we had to pay £5 to use it!! The room had a very strong stench so we had to open the windows and spray cologne to get the smell out.25 April 2012
1.0 star ratingNothingBroken windows, dust - would nit recommend17 October 2012
1.0 star ratingPossibly the worst hotel that I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. When I complained in the morning about how uncomfortable the bed was and that they needed to change it, there was no apology forthcoming - the manager grumpily told the receptionist to make a note. She didn't. I can't have been the first person to complain about that mattress. Water sprayed everywhere from the shower too. Threadbare carpet in the room too which hadn't been decorated for many years. Shuff11 October 2012
