3.5 star ratingVery relaxed, staff at check in very professional. Request for bedding (there was none in the roomfor 3rd bed) was dealt with immediately. Quite centrally located for most of Newcastles attractions. Taxi service in immediate vacinity of hotel car park. We never had to wait for a taxi when we needed one. Couldn't fault the breakfasts but see below about cafe food.Although I had booked for 3 adults the third bed was a small bed settee with a thin mattress, not very comfortable for my grandaughter who is a petite 15 year old and I suspect would have been much worse for someone of true adult proportions. When we arrived we settled in and went to the cafe area for sandwiches. The food was extortionately expensive and the sandwiches stale. This was our first impressions of the food and decided not to buy any more meals in the hotel. We were not looking forward to breakfast but were pleasantly surprised at the quality and range of food on offer after our initial experience with lunchtime sandwiches. However, would mot stay here again.22 August 2008

4.0 star ratingJury's always give good value for money and this one was no exception. Best pint of Guinness outside of Dublin. Excellent breakfast.Abit of a walk into town.21 February 2009

4.5 star ratingWell situated hotel offering a good standard of accomodation for the traveller. pricing varies wildly - you need to check a few sites to get the best dealken murray02 March 2009
1.5 star ratingHotel prepaid, 1 night, so no need for credit card to be taken BUT on recahing room and wanting to make phone (mobile gone) call couldn't as no credit card taken. Infuriationg as 2 floors from reception, end of long day, had to return to reception - NOT explained at reception, NO notice - FAILURE to provide customer service and so simple to remedy.18 March 2009
4.5 star ratingFriendly and helpful staff, rooms clean breakfast good value 03 March 2009
2.5 star ratingbreakfast in the mornin was a good curer for my hangover!however i had booked two TWIN rooms which we did not get, instead we got 2 rooms with a bed and a pathetic wee sofa bed in each. We went straight back down to reception to complain and was told this was standard set-up for a twin room! well this wasnt advertised on the website! at no point did it say that we would get a bed and a pathetic sofa bed..Staff done nothing to accomodate us! it wasnt so bad for me coz i got the bed as i was driving for the weekend but it wasnt great for my friend who had paid the same price as me an had to sleep on a sofa bed..therefore be warned if you are going away with friends!disappointed!16 June 2009
3.5 star ratingthe restaurant staff were very sociable and professional. The reception area didnt seem to know about parking areas. i realise that parking is seperate companies but having awareness of availability and use would have been helpful. There wasnt a feeling of being welcomed just formality.n/a22 June 2009

4.5 star ratingI am from Newcstle up to visit relatives with my daughter for the first time in 14 years had a brilliant weekend and made even better by your hotel staff and food and bedroom and of course the bar Thank you 01 December 2009
The Assistant Manager was very apologetic and provided me with a complimentary drink while I was waiting to be shipped off to another hotel.Never got the chance to find out as I was overbooked. 30 January 2010
5.0 star ratingHotel was very clean, check in very quick with no fuss and staff very friendly. Breakfast had something for everyone from healthy options to full english and was of very good quality. We would stay here again as was very good value for money. Very noisy (however it was New Years Eve)05 January 2010
2.5 star ratingThe breakfast was niceThe security guard was horribly because me and my partner didn't take both our pass out with us on the night out, so i need prove myself at the reception. Im sorry but I travel all over the world but never had a problem like this. I won't be returning.09 February 2010

3.5 star ratingThe hotel was well located and the rooms were clean and comfortableOur room overlooked a main road and we could hear traffic all night. This hotel was geared to big groups- stag parties etc which kept us up until 4am, until a fire alarm was set off due to misuse of equipment, by one of the guests This was a nice hotel with friendly staff, spoilt only by the guests. I would not recommend this hotel for familiees, couples or people wanting a nice relaxing break.07 April 2010
1.0 star ratingNoneWe booked the hotel before Xmas but when we arrived at the hotel the hotel had over booked and we were being moved to another hotel. We picked Jurys Inn as it was opposite Metro Radio Arena, although we were only moved 10 mins further away, surely the main principal of running a hotel is to ensure you have enough rooms for everyone. No compensation was offered for the huge inconvenience. 18 March 2010

2.0 star ratingThe overbook the hotel, did noty have a room and put us in a very shabby 3 star by the central station. Not staisfactory at all. 06 July 2010
4.0 star ratingGood location to Newcastle city centre, nice breakfast, good rooms, easy to findVery much a hotel for couples and groups going into Newcsatle for a night out. Quite noisy/rowdy throughout the evening and night. Fire alarm was set off deliberately leading to everyone being evacuated from the building at 4am. Okay if you are wanting a night on the town, but extremely unsuitable for families/older guests. Arwen26 October 2010
4.0 star ratingThe hotel did manage to find us a room in another hotel so were polite and helpful. We did not actually get to stay in the hotel which was pretty frustrating. Jury's Inn did not know whose fault this was but the booking was not on their system so we were moved to another hotel. This hotel was ok but not in the same location and also the room wasn't the greatest with no view. 31 March 2011

4.0 star ratingGreat location for Newcastle City Centre and night life. The Family room for 3 adults was modern, clean and comfortable. The large bathroom was a bonus with full size bath, well mirrored and lit. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much. I would recommend this hotel for groups, couples and people who want to experience the Newcastle Night Life. Checkout was flexible. There was no air con in the room only a thermostat on the radiator. The hotel had 3 lifts but these were very busy during peak hours meaning a long wait. There was no onsite parking and no discount rate at £12 per 24 hour at the local multi-storey. The shower was not great, not a lot of pressure and was a fixed head.Newcastle Night Life Lover03 January 2012

4.5 star ratingGreat location and value for moneyBreakfast was good when we were finally able to get some. The servery needs to be bigger as a hotel with 7 floors needs to be able to cater for all their guests.09 April 2013
5.0 star ratingEasy to find and helpful friendly staff.Would of liked the option of room service.Kelly09 April 2013
4.5 star ratingThe reception staff that I encountered were polite, friendly, considerate and I'd rate as excellent. Given it was just a one night stay, other encounters were of passing nature only, but the barman and breakfast reception person were both efficient and attentive.None. We were fearful that the stay would be disruptive as there were lots of stag and hen weekenders there, but everything was fine.10 April 2013
4.5 star ratingExcellent hotel within walking distance of the station, city centre and most importantly St James Park. The included buffet breakfast was excellent with the usual choice of full English, fruits and cereals. The charges for Internet access in the rooms are very high. My room overlooked the front of the hotel which can be a little noisy with people leaving and returning from nights out. (I was going out myself so this didn't bother me). However on previous stay I had room at the rear of the hotel and this wasn't a problem. If you're travelling with young children or you just want a quiet night I would recomend requesting a room at the rear, you will also get the bonus of views over the Tyne.Sam16 April 2013
5.0 star ratingRidiculously cheap stay at a well known chain. Will definitely be staying here Nonearmydonkey08 May 2013
4.0 star ratingRoom was clean, comfy beds compared to other chain hotels of the same price bracket. Bar food was lovely and well priced, will eat there again for other metro arena gigs even if not staying at the hotelBreakfast was not to the same standard as the lunch and evening food. A little disappointed after the previous days meals. Paid for breakfast in advance but was not on the list in the morning. Luckily had the email confirmation on tablet in the room so would not charged on check out.Gruffalos_Child08 May 2013
5.0 star ratingClean, bright and lovely rooms :)Chazz08 May 2013
4.0 star ratingThe room itself was pleasant - very clean and included tea The room was far too hot - even with the window open (which then meant additional noise levels) we could barely breathe and found ourselves getting dehydration headaches from the heat. The water was also very hot - usually a good thing but not when you feel the need for a cool shower to freshen up.berwickberri13 May 2013
5.0 star ratingWow! we really could not fault the professionalism of the staff at our hotel. We had originally booked to stay at the Newcastle Centre Jury's Inn, however due to a problem with external providers (Hotelopia) the hotel was double booked. The staff assisted us by transferring us to the Quayside Jury's Inn, this turned out to be the better of the two and even threw in complimentary breakfast. We shall be returning very soon. Thank you for such a positive experience. And oh my word...! The shower was amazing :DIroning facilities could use some improvement.Dylinc01 July 2013

4.0 star ratingSo close to the city !05 November 2013
4.5 star ratingHotel is central, has its own taxi rank and the security staff at night make you feel safe. The rooms are well presented and ideal for a weekend away. The staff are polite and always willing to help. I have stayed here before and whenever visiting Newcastle in the future I will stay here. I would recommend the Jurys Inn hotels and use them where possible. Lynsey05 November 2013

4.5 star ratingCleanest and most inviting jury's inn I ever stayed in, rooms were spotless cosy and warm. Staff were friendly and very helpfull especially the bar man we met from cork. 4.5 star ratingClean Room, Friendly Staff - Will definitely stay againAnonymous 16 September 2014
4.0 star ratingConveniently situated as it was our first visit to Newcastle1. The hotel was looking a little tired and needs to be updated especially the bathrooms. 2. I appreciate that being a city centre hotel parking is an issue. I was firstly sent to the open car park 2 blocks away. As Newcastle football were playing at home I had to leave my keys as the car could not be parked safely for 2 days. When I returned to reception I advised I was far from happy. They directed me to the multi-storey across the road. Under cover and with spaces. Should have had this first time.No Name03 September 2014
5.0 star ratingBest hotel! I really enjoyed my stay. It was affordable and right in the centre where everything is. I recommended this hotel to anyone- a family, group of friends or even partners. As well as this, the staff are lovely and helpful Anonymous 17 September 2014
4.5 star ratingStaff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel has very centre location. The hotel is very popular for hen/stag nights. We were woken both nights by people banging on the doors of adjoining rooms. Apparently, if it is clear you are not part of a larger party, you will be given a room higher in the hotel. However, as we were checking in later in the day, we were on a lower floor. Anonymous 15 October 2014
4.0 star ratingGreat location. Great room in terms of size and comfort. Breakfast superb. Staff great.Room should have AC. Would not like to be having to rely on opening window during summer.lmidbn04 November 2014
4.5 star ratingThe hotel was a great base for our gig at the metro arena staff were very friendly and hepful we had to wait a long time for food as the restaurant wasn't open and had to have it in the bar which was extremely busy not impressed by the quality of the food when it did arrive had to wait nearly an hour through no fault of the bar staff and there only appeared to be on waiter.paolo clan28 October 2014
4.0 star ratingThe hotel was perfect what we booked for two minute walk to the arenaThis hotel doesn't have car parking facilities which meant we had to park our car in a random car park and pay for it and we didn't get to enjoy the late check out because we had to be back at the car at 9 o'clock in the morning which was an inconvenience Anonymous 02 November 2014
5.0 star ratingExcellent hotel we would go back again. The staff were friendly and helpful it was an enjoyable stay.Anonymous 02 December 2014
4.0 star ratingAlways a clean and welcoming hotel, love the free wifi and the rooms are of a good size. Scalding hot water, is there a need for it to be that hot? Surely costs could be cut if the temparture of it was reduced? Also took a while to be checked in and we were left waiting for longer than I'd have liked. Daniel24 November 2014
3.0 star ratingwe paid less than half as normal so good value (we booked 6 months ago). Great position for the arena.we were given a 'disabled' room with a double bed when we had booked a double bed & single bed room. toilet & shower was set up for use with a wheelchair. Food was terrible for the money. I ordered a steak sandwich & it literally had 4 inch square pieces of steak in it, 1 of which was gristle & a sprinkling of lettuce alongside the onions. No mustard mayo as detailed in the menu and about 20 french fries. £12 for that & if I hadn't got mu husband to bring it up to the room for me it would have been sent back. In the morning I was looking forward to a lie in (as check-out not till 12) but was rudely awakened by staff outside my room talking on walky talkies. When I went to complain it seems there was some kind of an office across from my room where they were talking very loudly with the door open and didnt seem to have any regard for the paying guests. I just think because of what we paid we were shoved into a rubbish room. I did remark on this last point at checkout (not because the receptionist asked about our stay because she didnt) & she apologised about the noise but really didnt feel it was taken seriously.Anonymous 07 December 2014
5.0 star ratingHotel was excellent. It was in a very good position for the shops and local amenities. We went to see a show at the Metro Radio Centre and the hotel was in a good position for this. Highly recommend the hotel and will return again Anonymous 07 December 2014
5.0 star ratingCudn.t fault it will be back handy from station Handy for arena and handy for shopping rooms good size and staff very pleasant Nonesuggs15 December 2014
5.0 star ratingHotelopia had the best deal on this hotel.... A big bonus was the v. comfortable bed and a very substantial breakfast. If your going to Metro Arena for a Show...Jury's Inn will be perfect, You can see the Arena from the Hotel and overnight reasonable parking within sight of the Hotel. 10/10Brian.S Billingham17 December 2014
4.5 star ratingGreat room, nicely laid out and well equipped. Quiet except for the cleaners. Great value, even the hotel bar isn't over priced.Bit of messing about with the parking, not too bad though. Stood around for 5 minutes before anybody turned up in reception.Millsyx08 February 2015
