3.5 star ratingstayed in the tower which was much better than beach front accomodation, would have been disappoiinted if placed here. Clean,bedding changed daily however sometimes room not cleaned until late on. Very friendly staff, breakfast had everything you could have wanted. Nice hotel in good location. Staff in childrens club very friendly.Had to ask several times for things to be done e.g. reception staff to sort safe out which was not secured, finding out about points allocation. Pool very busy in afternoons when it appears lots of locals decend on pool . Travelled with young child - 10 months and limited regarding being able to entertain her around pool as grounds around pool and hotel unsuitable for crawling and childrens pool too deep for her to crawl in, our issue but just something for people to bear in mind.30 November 2008
4.5 star ratingI have to say our stay was pleasent from the moment we checked in. We were upgraded free of charge to an expensive suite as it was our honeymoon. Breakfast was just AMAZING. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were good aswell. The beach area is good aswell with plenty of activities on hand. Overall we were looked after and the stay was quite good at the hotel. Not much negative aspects at all. 27 January 2009

4.0 star ratingThe room came with 2 double beds and a balcony which was great as we are a family of four and didn't have to request extra beds. The hotel is simple but served us very well, the size of the room was great, larger than the golden sands where we normally stay. The beach is clean and not so busy, again better than the stretch of beach at the golden sands. The night market is right outside the front of the hotel as are some nice restaurants which are reasonably priced and the food is good. I would stay here again with the family.The hotel is quite simple, so does not have the luxurious lobby area as other hotels. Breakfast buffet is ok, everything you'd need but quite basic - however this didn't bother us as the hotel was good value for money so we were expecting a reduced breakfast selection. Hotel Staff will do anything for you they are very helpful made the stay quite pleasant. 4.0 star ratingThe breakfast variety. The Tower wing rooms with balcony, the amount of space was fantastic. The location in the heart of Batu Ferringhi with many eating options very close by and all the night market 'attractions' on your doorstep.My fellow guests who simply did not understand how to behave in public. I witnessed numerous guests spitting in the pool and poolside. This was pointed out to staff who did absolutely nothing about it. Needless to say I did not use the swimming pool after that. Also, fellow guests should be encouraged to use the serving utensils when helping themselves to food from the buffets. I watched people handle food items such as pastries, breads, sliced fruits and hash browns, often not taking the items handled. Such behaviour is unacceptable and the hotel and staff should be more proactive in encouraging fellow diners to be hygienic and considerate of their fellow diners.Kamalk0114 August 2014
