2.0 star ratingThe staff were very polite and courteous. My husband and I wanted a nice weekend away to celebrate my birthday. I booked a double room, but when we arrived were told that we had been booked into a twin room (no doubles available). This was extremely disappointing and not a good start to our weekend away. The room was quite small with only one small window, the curtains to which seemed to be covered in white "bleach" type marks. The decor was very old fashioned, as was the TV!! One of the single beds went halfway across the door to the bathroom which blocked it slightly. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy, so we did not sleep atall well all night long. We could not sit up in bed because the roof was slanted above us! The bath had a lot of cracks around the plughole area and the shower was very basic. The shower curtain around the bath was grubby. The bathroom door was damaged/dirty at the bottom. Altogether, the room was dated, uncomfortable and shabby. We will not be staying here again!!CAFFF02 November 2011
4.0 star ratingFree shuttle with ferry to Canary Warf (5 min.). Busstop nearby to go to Canada water station (10 min). Enjoyed the breakfast very much: hot and cold breakfast.Yogogirl6401 March 2012
2.0 star ratingStaff were very professional and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with good variety.Room was a major disappointment; very small, mould on bathroom tiles, broken shower head, uneven flooring, poor decorative order. Corridors and lifts also dirty and very uncared for. Certainly does not justify being classed as a 4 star hotel.09 December 2012

2.5 star ratingwas very disappointed as when we arrived they had no twin rooms available for the stay too say we were slightly annoyed was an understatemet whilst sorting the problem which the trainee (not very good english) could not seem to do we were made very late for the concert we were attending very angry that we missed the beginning of the concert and that the hotel had not sorted the problem before we arrived your comments would be appreciated and some kind of renumeration would be acceptable the whole evening was ruined 16 July 2013

3.5 star ratingStaff were pleasant and helpful. Room was not what I would expect from a 4* hotel, more like 3* and a bit dated. Not in the best location. If you miss the boat at the end of the night you will have a lot of travelling to do to get to the hotel. Nearest tube station is quite a bit away, we had to get a taxi to it, which was expensive.Anonymous 18 November 2014
4.0 star ratingRoom was nice, little small but perfect for myself and even if my partner there it would have been fine. great views on the thames right outside the window, great facility of the ferry right at the back to go to canary whalf. Was there for Prudential ride London 100 and they were very accomidating. Laid out water and fruit and flapjacks for us to take and had the breakfast pack available earlier than normal and was no trouble. Highly recommend, will be going back soon :)Only thing is the parking is a bit here and there, great it has some, just if there is no space in first carpark just have to go down the road (after getting a swip card from reception) to park and not too far to walk back.Anonymous 04 August 2015

4.0 star ratingReception staff were helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was lovely and a good choice for breakfast.Service in restaurant was appalling, it was my birthday I was made to wait along time to order, staff were not at all attentive or friendly. The food was nice but the whole experience was not at all what I would have liked or expected. I did pass my feedback to the waitress to which her response was I didn't know it was your birthday I am having a bad day! Well it showed! Anonymous 05 July 2016
3.5 star ratingExcellent location for travelling into the CityCheck in takes forever with only 2 staff to check in dozens of people. Reception staff very good, they just need more staff. Exactly the same goes for the bar. There were 2 guys working it last Saturday night 13/8/2016 who didn't have a clue about who was next in line to be served. Hence it took most people on average about 30 minutes to get a drink. Staff shortages to blame again and inexperienced slow bar tenders who didn't have a rush in them. Quite disgraceful under the Hilton brand. Exceptionally poor service.Anonymous 10 August 2016
4.5 star ratingVery modern hotel - good sized room for a family of 4 (2 adults, and 2 kids) Great breakfast selection Fantastic cookies offered on arrival - a great way to win kids over ! Although it was fun to get the shuttle boat across the other side of the river to go into the centre of London by boat, or across to Canary wharf área, if you need to get somewhere quickly it is a bit more of a pain.Jon F16 March 2016
