1.5 star ratingIf there was a positive, I'd have to say - the Women who served breakfast, always greeted us with a smile. She was the only receiver of tips during our stay. On arrival the double room we booked, was a twin. Our double room was occupied, so we stayed in a twin room- no big issue but it was dirty. The bed was made but the floor was filthy, the bathroom was a health hazard. The next day we moved into our double room and the same - the floor had not been cleaned, under the bed- stains and rubbish left by others. The bathroom was the worse - it smelt and looked like a busy public toilet found in UK cities . The plug holes was fulled of grim. I lifted the plug itself and it had wet brown ... i can only say filth, it smelt of human waste. Mould covered the shower curtain. My partner was violently ill during our stay there. Our saving grace was that we booked a trip during our stay and left the Hotel for two days. I have no issue with tired looking old Hotels and prefer this to modern Hotels but cleanliness is essential. I only booked this Hotel because other people stated that it was clean. I have taken pictures and will post Trip Adviser along with pleas to others NOT to stay here. What it worse it that we stayed at Great John Street Hotel in Manchester prior to flying to Marrakesh - we went from 110% perfection to disgusting in 24hrs. 15 February 2012
