4.5 star ratingExcellent staff. Lovely room although a view would have been a bonus. Pool perfect. Overall very good stay.Breakfast was good but each day we had to ask for new bowl, plates, croissants etc. Not a problem though. The staff were very good.16 August 2008
3.5 star ratingCheck in was fine, friendly staff. Room was ok with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Small selection of free soft drinks in the room bar. Breakfast was a joke. The first day we were invited to sit and wait a minute as the dinning room was full. However, all the people that arrived after us went in first as the lady at the desk had no idea what order we were in. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. They had one small toast making machine that took an age to work. The hot food was cold and when the food ran out it was not replaced. The hot water was warm for drinks. Nowhere near enough staff. Great shame as it would be so easy to turn it around with good management. No hot drinks in rooms. We choose this hotel as it had a pool. This was closed and dose so regularly at the end of September. This was not advertised. Had I known this I would not have chosen this hotel. 10 October 2008

5.0 star ratingAccommodation of a high standard. Comfortable bedrooms with excellent facilities. A very relaxing foyer/lounge area and the decor was stylish. Breakfast - excellent service and selection. Restaurant - super menu at competitive prices and the food itself was excellent. I cannot fault the service. Excellent value for money. My wife and I were just recovering from serious illnesses and the four days that we spent at the Sheraton were the best therapy we could have wished for. We hope we will be able to return in the not too distant future. No negative reviews whatsoever14 October 2008
4.5 star ratingOriginally booked into the Meridien Hotel but after reading reviews cancelled and booked into the Four Points Elysee - THANK GOODNESS!! Full marks to the Hotel staff who were helpful, friendly and efficient. We booked a junior suite which was excellent. Apart from breakfast, did not eat in the hotel. The hotel is not actually on the Promenade Anglais but we found it to be quieter and there were restaurants within easy walking distance. Loved Nice and found the busues and trains were a cheap of travelling to Monaco, Cannes etc. Do visit St. Paul de Vance. Would certainly stay at this hotel againIf you like a continental breakfast then there is a good choice, but, like many foreign hotels, the buffet 'english' breakfast was never hot and, unless you came down before 9.30am guests had to queue to get a table In future would book room only and have breakfast at a cafe. Drinks were very expensive.13 October 2008

4.5 star rating On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room at no extra cost. Great room, very spacious and exceptionally clean. A Couple of days the breakfast room was very busy and some visitors were having to wait in reception area for a table to become free. 27 October 2008
