This hotel is ideally situated by the marina of Vilamoura and Praia da Marina Beach. There is a plethora of shops, a casino and entertainment venues in the immediate vicinity. Vilamoura's lively social and nightlife attracts many celebrities for relaxing weekends and holidays. The hotel's Conference Centre hosts major events, high-level meetings and new product launches. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Roman ruins on the opposite side of the marina, and Oceânico Pinhal Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away.

5.0 star ratingFabulous hotel in a great location. Staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. My mother was celebrating a birthday during our stay and was very surprised when a birthday cake and bottle of champagne was delivered to the room.Expensive during peak times of the year which would put it out of our budget. We travelled in late September and Easyjet was the cheapest by over £100.29 September 2008

5.0 star ratingfaultless, a very plesant stay.not negative but would it be possible to stipulate which side of the hotel your room is? we had relatives with us and both our rooms were on the marina side, it would have been nice to have had the choice of one on the beach and one on the marina to have the best of both views.28 October 2008

5.0 star ratingFantastic from start to finish, the hotel is in a excellent popsition with everthing on its doorstep, out the front door is the marina, shops, reasturants etc and out the back is the beautiful beach and pool area etc. The spa and facilities are great as well as the food and the staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. We only went for a three night stay but will definietly return soon. Nothing! Apart from the Euro making things a bit expensive.02 April 2009
3.5 star ratingGreat interior design lifts the drab 70's/ 80's building into the 21st Century. The rooms are excellent and clean as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area is superb, lots of good quality furniture to lounge on. Proximity to the beach, marina and town is unparallaled in Vilamoura. Still building work going on at the hotel. The staff were friendly and did help when you had a problem (we were orignally given the wrong room). However the Waiter service was lacksidasicle. The breakfast buffet was hit and miss with quality of food. For lunch: If you want to pay £6 for the hot dog from a tin then this is the place for you. 5.0 star ratingVery high quality fittings, including a very comfortable bed. Spa facilities and indoor / outdoor pools were excellent. Great choice at breakfast. The general ambiance was excellent. It is lovely to listen to the waves at nightThe only small negative point was that the Nikki bar at the beach is quite loud, and drowns out the sound of the sea for most of the day and night.The hotel was excellent10 June 2009
3.5 star ratingFantastic facilities, refurbished rooms stylish and smart. Great locationCheck-in procedure antagonistic when told that reserved room type only a request and no doubles are available. After gathering family up to leave was told acutually there might be a room available. Both main pool And child pool freezing cold, indoor pool fine but crowded. At 0900 all sunbeds but 2 "reserved" with towels.Justanumber11 June 2009

The problem was not being addressed by the hotel management. Like many hotels completely clueless when it comes to bacon at breakfast, the offering was a fatty greasy poorly cooked mess.12 November 2009

3.5 star ratingThe Tivoli Marina Hotel is excellently located to the Marina and the gorgeous beach. This enables you to enjoy long walks along the beach during the day and relaxing on a sun lounger to enjoy a good book, while enjoying the peaceful sound of the waves. At night the Marina comes to life and is nicely lit up. The hotel enables the ladies to wear their high heels as everything is on your doorstep. The Marina spoils you for choice of places to eat as there is no shortage of really good restaurants. The swimming pool at the hotel is excellent and you can enjoy a relaxing day sunbathing. The room service staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are kept very clean on a daily basis. Towels are replaced regularly (twice daily). The breakfast buffet is extremely good, we really enjoyed a freshly cooked omelette every morning, fresh fruit and cereal. The decor was a little dated and could do with some updating. The balcony in rooms obstruct your view, which is a little disappointing. The price of alcoholic drinks by the pool were very expensive, too pricey. Drinks in the bar were also too expensive. Would have liked more entertainment in the sidebar. Music finished at midnight. The hotel use to have a saxophone player or a pianist which was very enjoyable. We feel the side bar has lost its original lively atmosphere of years gone by. 23 July 2013
5.0 star ratingWe had a wonderful 3 night stay in this hotel.The breakfast was 'world class' and the evening meal was real 'fine dining'. The staff were very professional and friendly . Location from the airport was very accessible just 20 mins in taxi with lovely marina views on one side and beach views on the other. The weather was mixed but on the rainy days we used the lovely indoor pool. We would definately go back.chicks30 October 2013
5.0 star ratingThe hotel was an excellent choice from the start of our holiday to the end the staff were very courtious and gave us their full attention. The hotel was spick and span very clean and tidy. excellent value for money, perfect location and all we had to do was enjoy ourselves which unfortunally was'nt long enough. We will certinally be returning as soon as we can. With the exception of a blackout one night when all the lights in the hotel went out, which was a bit of fun I can not find one fault05 November 2013
