3.5 star ratingIt was a nice modern hotel. the breakfast was good. the room was very clean and had a balcony.The food at dinner was very poor. my advice ... just book b&b.you need to book car hire.taxis are expensive.you are very close to villamoura marina. but you have to use the back door to get there.but you cant use the back door to get back in.you have to use the front door.it is awalk of around 20mins to use the front door.05 October 2009

4.5 star ratingThe staff were very good and very profesional, in dress and attitude. The bar was one of the best stocked I have ever seen and the pricesw were very resonable for a hotel on the Algarve.Very quiet hotel because of it's situation and location, (10 min walk from the town) The garden and sunloungers are very good and get the sun for most of the day, In January until 15:45. There is a resonable sized small pool, complemented with a childs paddling pool. The Breakfast was ver boring EVERY morning Scammbled eggs (powered - I think) beans and horrid sausages, tipical toaster it takes two passes to brown the bread which results in it becoming very hard and brittle. I eat the evening meal twice (at 10E inclusive for suop main course and sweet). Most people seemed to eat in the evening - as the hotel is in the middle of a housing estate and so with thedark evenings the mostly elderly guests stayed in, Close by in the old town,byt eh Church with the large storks nest (I kid you not) there is at least 3 restraunts where a fullmeal costs 6.5E or 8E for the meal with a large jug of red wine. 4.0 star ratingFood definitely not strong point Staff go out of to help you room plenty of wardrobe and desk space staff were so run off their feet they did not have time to speak to u personally there were 4 staff when we went who run the whole show definitely need to look at menu and breakfast very repetive food and not nicely presented by no means dogs in the neighbourhood barked constantly day and night17 April 2013
5.0 star ratingIdeally situated between Vilamoura and Quarteira, both places a 10 minute stroll away and the beach is close by too. Breakfast was OK, fairly basic and being vegan I mainly ate the fruit salad and bread with tomatoes. Rooms are a good size. Pool area is pleasant. Staff were friendly. The fruit juice in the machine tasted too artificial and very sugary. The pool area could benefit from more umbrellas especially because it benefits from sun for most of the day.jen070912 July 2013
