3.5 star ratingNice room with a cnd Iomfortable bed. Really powerful shower! Nice massageThe service at this hotel is unfortunatley not that of a 5 star hotel. At breakfast they do not replenish food very often and we had to ask for plates, then bowls, then milk at the buffet breakfast. When we arrived we asked at reception for an ice bucket for our champagne we had bought with us - it didnt arrive and we rang to chase it up 45 mins later. The staff at the pool were very slow to do what I presume they are paid for which is getting your towels and drinks when required. If they had been more attentive then we would probably have spent more money on snacks and drinks however youneeded to find one and try and catch their eye or go up to the bar area. The first night we didnt get their till about 10pm and they told us that the pool bar was doing food till 11pm, they didnt look pleased to see us though when we turned up at 10.30 and we were just left standing their while they chatted and grumbled to themselves then gave us a table. They then got our drinks order wrong (left the rum out of the rum and coke) and forgot then to bring the next lot of drinks and we had to go and find the waiter and ask him if he was going to bring them - he had forgot. The hotel is quite a nice building but does not have 6 restuarants as it is marketed as having. One restuarant we knew was going to be closed but even with that one I still cant make it anymore than 4 places to eat? We always try and go to a 5 star/luxury short break once a year and unfortunatley the staff here let this resort down and make it feel more like a 3 star. I would suggest that the manager visits the Four seasons in cyprus and experiences the 5 star treatment and service there and keeps a closer eye on what his staff are doing/not doing.
