2.0 star rating	The halal Chinese restaurant serves good quality Dim Sum and awesome dishes. Hotel is conveniently located near eateries and shopping malls.	Rooms are not in good condition. appliances are faulty and some lights are not working.There was not enough towels in the bathroom. Asked for extra towels but was not delivered even though called the housekeeping and hotel reception several times. There was no room service menu in the room. Was also not entertain after made several calls for it to be delivered. The swimming pool was not manned and pool towels was also not available. Went up to the gym to get one. 1.0 star rating	None other than the location which is near City Square and Komtar	We booked the hotel via Hotelopia for a one night stay over the weekend for my birthday celebration. We reached the hotel late in the evening and was told that they don't have non-smoking room as they are fully booked. (My bad as I didn't indicate in my booking that I want non-smoking because I assume that the default is non-smoking). We went to our smoking room and to our horrors, the room stank of cigarette smoke and the ash tray was not cleared, there was a used towel on the bed and a half drank bottle of mineral water. We went back to the reception and request to upgrade our room at our cost. The receptionist gave us an upgrade to the executive floor room and when we went in, the occupants apparently have not checked out. We were appalled that their system was not even updated. Can you imagine you were sleeping in your room and someone opened your room because they were given your room key to check in? By then, I was too tired to kick up a fuss, I was even prepared to leave the hotel if they don't have any room for us. Thankfully, they gave us a junior suite but when we went in, a portion of the ceiling was leaking (a vase was placed there for the leaking water to drip into it) and the air-con was so noisy I couldn't sleep well. I was so thankful that it was morning and when I went down for breakfast, the whole restaurant was like a mad house. Food that ran out were not replaced promptly and the dirty plates were not cleared fast enough. After eating their half cooked omelette, I was feeling uncomfortable, I went back to my room and vomited. Puterii Pacific, you really ruined my birthday celebration.	Grace	25 August 2015
2.0 star rating	Nothing positive to shout about!	1) There was no welcoming mood in this hotel at all. The staff (male) who checked me in was very "cold". There was no smile on his face at all. He put on a very "cold" personality to almost all the guests he received as I watched from the side. It was as if the guests owed him something. 2) I booked the room on 25Aug. When I checked-in on 28Aug, the staff said there was no record of my booking. The checked-in time stated in my booking sheet was 2pm. The male staff said only after 3pm and earlier check-in was subject to room availability. I told him mine was NOT an early check-in. The 2pm check-in time was clearly stated in the booking sheet. After checking in, my wife and I went shopping. When we came back in the early evening and slotted in the room card, there was a short circuit. It was rectified after more than 15 minutes. 3) Breakfast closes at 1030am. When we went for breakfast the next day at late 9am, many dishes were already empty and not replenished. My wife needed to tell the staff to replenish a chilli sauce for a particular dish. 4) My friend was supposed to call my room and pick me up on 30Aug. When my friend approached the counter and wanted to make a call to my room, no hotel staff knew what prefix to dial to connect to my room. 5.0 star rating	Everything about this hotel is superb though I did not use all of the facilities such as gym & swimming pool. Our room was being upgraded, the view from our room was nice as it was facing the swimming pool. There was fire works at night making our stay a pleasant one. The location of this hotel is very convenient as it is nearby to all 3 shopping centres namely Galleria, Century Square & Kota Raya. They did not try to find a room for me and after I came back 3 hours later, they forgotten that I am checking in. Not only the manager did nothing they did not try to reimburse me. 4.0 star rating	We stayed in 2 different types of rooms from 11/12 to 13/12. The executive rooms that we stayed in on the 2nd day was awesome. Very modern and luxurious decor. Appreciate the fruit platter that was given. The deluxe room that we stayed in on the first day has older decor but is clean. The breakfast spread was amazing. Lots of options and are delicious.	We book the hotel online for our stay on 12/12. But as we decided to check in one day earlier, so we decided to get the rooms direct from the hotel. The rates given to us was 4 times more expensive then if we book online. We were extremely shocked. But what pissed me off that day was the staff just told us in such a sacarstic manner to take the normal room if we can't afford the executive room. She should have at least show a bit of empathy and walk us through the different options that we could have chosen. We could have just walk out and book another hotel if there wasn't small children with us.And on the 2nd day, when we stayed at the executive room, one of your staff delivered the fruit platter by opening our room. Staff at the restaurant are not attentive to the needs of the guests. Nobody attended to us when we enter the restaurant and we are a family of five. Selection for their buffet is wide compared to many of the hotels I have stayed in. My go to hotel for a Singaporean looking for an affordable but quality staycation. 5.0 star rating	The staff at the reception counter were friendly and helpful. They were very efficient and serve the customer with warm friendly smile that makes you feel very welcome. Even the service at the restaurant were good with efficient staffs coordinating the places for the guests to sit despite a very crowded place, we did not make to wait long before our seats were make available for us. The staff restaurant where we had our buffet breakfast were very friendly and enthusiastic about their job	Some of the guests smoked and we got the awful cigarette smell along the corridor of our room which is non smoking. I spoke to cleaning crew and he said that some guests do smoke in the rooms Nowadays a lot of hotels collect deposit from guests when they check in and forfeit the deposit when they smoke in the non smoking rooms I think Puteri Pacific should do that to deter them from smoking	Anonymous	30 April 2017

3.0 star rating	Fast check-in and out. Buffet breakfast was good.	I am not sure if it's the location of the room or floor, but both the connection for wifi and the tv is super, super bad!! We can only get good wifi if we stand at the entrance of the hotel room. Once we stepped in, we can say goodbye to the wifi. As for the tv, it was only 10.00pm, but all channels are only showing statics. The 2nd day, we only got 1 channel and the 3rd, we can view few channels but the pictures are all not clear. As for the cleanliness of the room, there's lots of improvements to be made. This is the 2nd time we stayed at the hotel. There wasn't any problem with the wifi nor tv connection the first time we stayed. That is why we came back. But we doubt if we will come back to this hotel again. 2.0 star rating		This is my second time staying in the hotel. The first was an unpleasant experience in which the staff promised me will be better in my next stay. This; I shared with Mr Azlee- the person who did my check in but he merely ignored. Indeed it was just another poor experience. I was with 2 elderly parents and young children and needed connecting rooms but he simply said not available. We weren't even greeted with any smile when we reached. Nor was he apologetic that we could not even get family room. It could have been better if he showed professionalism as a front desk staff and much politeness but he didn't. Buffet was so-so with messy tables. Location was the only plus of the hotel. Stay at Doubletree Hilton JB the next day proved to be such a contrasting improved & awesome experience. 5.0 star rating	We checked in late on new year's eve jus before 12am, and were promptly attended to. Room was spacious and comfortable for the price we were paying for. We could see the pool from our room. Although we did not get to try out the facilities as we were in a rush the next morning, the facilities seemed comprehensive. We would definitely be coming back to use the facilities! We have also been told that the Dim Sum offered here (Halal) is of good quality and value-for-money. The location was also very convenient - 5 minutes walk to City Sq. You have to cut through behind some of the shops there though, there's construction going on there.	We did not enjoy the buffet breakfast much - there was a decent variety but probably not worth paying 88rm for, -- We did not get the room with breakfast as we bought a last minute deal for the night's stay online. 4.0 star rating	This hotel is one of our favorite hotel in Johor Bahru. Its right across the causeway from Singapore. Checking in is a breeze and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. Room is clean and the wifi in the room is very good too. It is near to the shopping centres and foods are easily available. The TV channels are good too as we can get Singapore and Indonesian channels here. The best is it has Sports network so we will never miss any soccer matches while staying here.
