1.0 star ratingLocation to city sq and wifi is ok for in roomTotal disappointment esp when I paid the higher rate on this hotel. Room infested with ants and bathroom has mould on wall tiles! We booked twin rooms but only given one twin room and had to take a queen for the other. Reception staff not knowledgeable and flexible. Doesn't know the way within City Square carpark to citrus hotel after shopping mall closed after 10.30pm and had to figure out the way to get to hotel at 11pm! 3.5 star ratingEasy access to city square and custom. Very convenient. Room is very comfortable.The only thing I dislike is the water heater. It does not consistently dispense hot water. 1.0 star rating.The hotel standard have dropped tremendously compared to the 1st first i had stayed which was 4 years ago. Bed cover was dirty and the hotel smells when we walk along the corridor from the lift to our room. Window blind was badly damaged. 2.0 star ratingWhen i reached the hotel at about 1535, the room wasn't ready.When the room is ready to be checked in. I was given a smoking room. I already requested for non smoking room when i booked this hotel. And we need to wait another 20 minutes for them to tidy up a non smoking room which is the waste of time. 3.0 star rating1. Location-wise, the hotel is near to the malls. 2. Polite staff. The receptionist apologised for the delay (explained in negative part). 3. Convenience stores selling toothbrushes, cup noodles, tissue packets, etc. are located nearby. 4. Food stalls are also located nearby if you don't wish to eat in the mall. 5. There are massage chairs in the lobby! Though you have to pay a small sum to use them.1. Understaffed or slow staff reception. Arrived on 16/9/16, Friday, around 2-3pm to check in. There was a commotion going on in the lobby. Apparently one of the guests who arrived earlier on the same day was given the key card to the wrong room (which was occupied). My partner and I waited in the lobby for at least 20 minutes for one of the two receptionists to get the matter sorted. The other receptionist at the counter was occupied with something else, and was rushing in and out of the area. There were also a few guests waiting after us to check in. Could be an unlucky timing. 2. Although essentials such as body wash and shampoo were provided, there were no toothbrushes. 3. We found slight blood stains on the bed cover. 4. 2.0 star ratingStaff accomodative with room change. Near citysquare. Good for late night movie. 24hrs indian food just downstairs across the road. Minimart also 24hrs downstairs.16 degrees Celsius of aircon is equivalent to 25 degrees Celsius. Aircon is horrible. Room 308 has aircon sound louder than the TV. Changed to room 311 but aircon is bad eventhough the aircon sound is tolerable. The hotel is pretty new but not maintained. Toilet cleanliness is horrible External windows are never cleaned Low floors means noisy sleep at night.joe05 September 2016

1.5 star ratingit was right next to the mall and very close to the customs. the room was so dirty its disgusting. the window was caked in white residue and it was so gross. there were no towels provided which is fine because you wont want to use the towels there anyway.stay here only if u dont mind the room crawling with ants everywhere.
