4.0 star ratingGreat location, lovely contemporary renovationsIn desperate need of air conditioning, especially as the windows in our room had locks on (for obvious safety reasons we know) so we could only open them a faction. Also the bathroom window couldn't be opened at all. This was enough to put us off booking with you again, as we had a very uncomfortably stuffy nights sleep.27 July 2010
we didnot get to stay there they were fully booked, however they had booked us into another hotel nearby. It would have been better if they had informed us before we arrived14 June 2011

5.0 star ratingThe Legacy Falcon is very central, within easy walking distance of the Shakespeare Birthplace, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the river. It is a mixture of old and new, with a bar area of ancient timbering and a more modern structure behind it; there are bedrooms in both, and the older rooms are more atmospheric but less spacious. they do of course have modern facilities. The only meal I had was breakfast which is absolutely fine but not out of the ordinary. Paulus26 March 2013

5.0 star ratingI travel alot with work so I feel qualified to give a balanced review on hotels! This hotel was fantastic. My partner and I stayed over on a Saturday night to go to see Hamlet and my Mum stayed at the hotel too. I paid £58.50 for a double room in the old part of the hotel and my Mum paid the same but had a courtyard room in the newer part. The location is great. Lots of historic buildings surrounding it. The hotel itself is pretty to look at. It is probablly a 3 minute walk to the theatre and an 8 minute walk to the market square and 15 minute walk to the train station. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked, the bathroom was small but perfect for what we needed and there was decent biscuits and teabags which is always a bonus! The staff were really accomodating. On my booking I presumed I would get a small room in the new part of the hotel facing a car park for the price we paid but in the notes I requested a room in the old part of the hotel. When we arrived they pointed out that they had managed to get a room in the old part for us and they were really helpful. I really couldn't fault the hotel. Very good price, great location, lovely rooms, generous staff.Nothing. It really was very good. I would recommend this to anyone and I would definately stay here again.AdamT09 April 2013
3.0 star ratingFront of hotel is nice and old, which is what you come to Stratford for. Central location. Comfy bed. Internet available although the ethernet cable is far too short if your input is on the left!.Very noisy, no effort to muffle sound, windows very loose so outside noise comes straight in. Our room was above some kind of machinery/ heating system and we could hear it all the time. The bathroom was poorly thought out, the shower is no good for anyone over 5ft! Staff had poor attitude, I stood in front of desk while checking out and was not even acknowleged by the receptionist sitting opposite me for a minute, and the barman had no idea what beer and wine they had!Jon14 April 2013

3.5 star ratingVery central location. keenly priced. free parking a bonus. character building.Very squeaky floors due to age of property. Thin walls, could hear man in next room snoring all night! Shower was scalding hot, when reported to reception didn't seem bothered, glad we didn't have a small child with us!wendywoo21 May 2013
