2.0 star ratingThis is nothing to do with and is nothing like the famous Savoy hotel in London: the room was not ready on time; we walked into cleaners' materials on floor when we entered the room; we walked into cleaners' bag of toilet roll etc on floor outside door when leaving in the morning; the room was not cleaned during day, so we needed to call for clean towels and toilet roll; we found part of banana skin under bed; the beer at the bar was off; when another resident and I asked for replacement beer we were rudely told by the young girl and manager that the beer was fine (a replacement brand was given, reluctantly, but this was not much better); even when busy the bar was understaffed, so we often had to wait until the girl turned up; the chips were meant to be with a side salad but this never appeared; the room television was tiny (my 13" laptop screen was bigger). This hotel is the farthest one from the pleasure beach - even the North Pier is not not within walking distance unless you love walking, so you will want to use the tram or a taxi.14 October 2008
1.0 star ratingAwful hotel, unclean rooms, peeling decor. unprofessional staff. when waiting to check in, at least 5 complaints were being made by different people within the hotel15 February 2012
1.0 star ratingThe hotel is dilapidated, the room was in a poor condition it didn't look like it had been cleaned. The bedding had stains on them and weren't removed. The bathroom was abysmal it was filthy and the shower was ripped of I think the local b and b's would of been better.09 April 2012
3.5 star ratingWe arrived at 9pm and had paid for an evening meal we were told that the restaurant closed at 8pm but they made us sandwiches and delivered them to our room at no charge.Nowhere on there site does it say what time the restaurant closes in the evening. Hotel is looking shabby and could do with an overhaul but cheap and cheerful. If you are looking to stay in a posh hotel dont book here but if you are after somewhere for a night or two that doesn't cost the earth it's fine. shazza02 October 2013
2.5 star ratingAppearance of the outside looked nice, staff were friendly and got given a family room instead of a doubleOn arrival the bathroom window was wide open with nothing to fasten it so was absolutley freezing, the other windows had tissue all round the frames to stop draughts maybe but was really scruffy, can't complain for £30 but bit the best staying in blackpool on a freezing January night with broken windowsPaige13 January 2015
