4.5 star ratinghad a lovely stay, lovely helpful staff. has a lift which is needed after you've walked your feet off - the thought of climbing stairs........!!!!!!would have liked a slightly bigger room (for the same money, obviously!!!) but this didn't take away from the lovely stay we had - we only really spent time sleeping in the room anyway as the rest of the time we were out seeing the sights. lovely clean hotel.11 November 2008
3.5 star ratingGood location, with easy access to the waterbus stop. pleasant reception/lounge area. helpful and pleasant reception staff. very good room attendants, bathroom items replenished every day. 'turndown service' included in the evening. One very rude breakfast waitress, example, one morning we sat on a table with bench seat, which was apparently for four people. we were told (not asked) to move by a very rude, abrupt waitress. (we were then very cramped as we had our coats and bag with us for the day ahead). then five minutes later another couple sat in the same place, when there were plently of 'tables for two' , however the same waitress served this couple without any mention of them moving to a smaller table! two staff were polite, but generally the waitresses never smiled or offered to remove used plates, or replenish hot water for tea. one morning we had to complain to the management about the waitress, as went to sit at another table in the 2nd restaurant area (other guests were already there too), only to be told 'no you cannot sit there' we asked why. she said its after 10am (it was exactly 10am) breakfast was served until 10.30am. management did say we could were we liked, but the atmosphere by this time was not relaxing. i could not wait to leave the breakfast room. we travel often and have never had this type of problem before. 25 November 2008

2.5 star ratingHaving stayed before at the Rialto Hotel we were very disappointed with the accommodation provided. The first room offered was not acceptable as it required walking up two flights of stairs once we had got out of the lift. The alternative room No.410 was still a walk up one flight of stairs from the lift and had no hand rail to hold on to. The room was the smallest room we have ever stayed in. There was just enough room for the double bed, also the room was situated on the side of the hotel with a passage wy outside. The noise outside from people using the passage did not allow us to have one good nights sleep during our stay. This will be the last time we use this hotel. 13 March 2009
3.5 star ratingAmazing Location - can walk to about 80% of venice within 30mins - always a pleasure! Was a little dissapointed with the room initially - up 6 flights of stairs in the roof, a grotty view of the rooftops/pigeons and some dirty marks on the cloth wallpaper. However after a day or so didn't notice these bad points anymore cos of the amazing location. Also we had a bottle of champagne hidden in the room - the cleaners found it and that afternoon we had a bottle chiller and glasses all there ready - didn't have to ask. Service was generally excellebt. Would stay again but would be a little concerned about paying top whack wtthout confirming which room you're in - we got the 4th night free so. 14 November 2009
2.0 star ratingLocation, just outside Rialto bridge and waterbus stationThink twice before opting for this hotel. Staff was rude. Staff has taken it for granted that due to the location, they would get the business no matter what. Room was bad, shower was pathetic. Breakfast had very less option. Not at all value for money. They call them 4 star but its not worth at all. MK03 September 2013
4.5 star ratingThe room was very comfortable and spacious for 2 adults and a child. The hotel location was central and excellent and all the activities are on the hotel doorstep. The hotel staff were helpful, courteous and kind. We would recommend it to any families with children.None i can think of.Douglas10 April 2014
