Hotel Al Gallo it's a small family-run hotel in a quiet but very comfortable, it was completely restored a few months ago. The Hotel's location is strategic because you'll be close to arrival terminals in town (station, parking and Airbus) but 15 minutes into walking takes you to San Marco and Rialto. Two minutes from the Hotel there are a lot of places where you can listen to live music or sing at karaoke.The rooms are all elegantly decorated in Venetian style

3.0 star ratingFantastic location, easy to find as long as you work out the location on google maps first and get the location mapped out. Staff were friendly and there was the option of using a free coffee machine. Bed was comfy and a good size, and air conditioning once turned on was good. No restriction on what hours you can return to the hotel, and the decor was very pleasing and welcoming.I know this isn't the fault of the hotel, but there were many mosquitos due to the June heat and they managed to get into the room even though we kept the window closed the entire time, so we spent the first night continuously swatting them with towels. On the walls there were still remains of other dead mosquitos that had not been cleaned off prior to our arrival in the room which was not nice, especially when the bloodstains were visible. The walls are quite thin so you may hear your neigbhbours if they are particularly noisyA.C12 July 2015
