4.0 star ratingAtlantis chill out is a must for couples.Pity the hotel has removed the option of dining in the other restaurants for a small supplement. The other restaurants were quiet, perhaps they should reconsider. Seems a shame when you pay half board rate to have to pay full prices in other restaurants. 05 October 2008

5.0 star ratingGreat breakfast, greatn pool(s) and terrific location. Plenty of nice sunbeds and fresh towel every day.Could really do with a couple of British TV channels. Security a bit lax at breakfast ie anybody could walk in.Jas18 May 2009
4.5 star ratingStaff were a pleasure, food was excellent, wide variety of choice, linen changed regularly, towels changed daily, towels supplied for pool use, hotel centrally located close to the shops and beachbit of a mix up at book in where we were advised the hotel did not have double (marital) beds, this was wrong, to be fair when we spoke to Annaliese Zweiger this was sorted within 10 mins. bit grumble that hotel guests still pre book loungers and dont use them for large parts of the day, very irritating and a complete wasteJoe Paterson08 July 2009

2.5 star ratingStaff as always were more than pleasant and very helpful. Food good.Having stayed in the the mediteranean palace and cleopatra hotels, twice yearly over the past 5 years, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room s mildew on the ceiling where shower has been leaking from the room above, the grouting around the shower tray was also mildewed. The tiling around the pool areas would need cleaned, normally this was done on a daily basis, but there was no evidence of this during our stay.collie18 February 2012

4.0 star ratingMaid service in rooms was excellent. Reception staff and activity staff very pleasant and helpful. English channels available on TV. Excellent choice and quality of food. Great location.Room quality was of a 3 star standard and a bit shabby - chipped floor tiles.Buddy08 December 2012
3.5 star ratingAbsolutely perfect location on the 'golden mile' for eating and drinking out. Pool view rooms much more preferable to mountain/street view rooms. Love being able to hire pool towel and get a nice clean and dry one every day, saves on the packing! Also love being able to choose to sunbathe at either Med Palace or Cleo Palace pool depending on whether you want activities and games or peace and quiet. Free safe in room a nice touch too.Rooms need a complete makeover! They are nowhere near 5 (or even 4) star standard. Maybe back when hotel first built 25 years ago, but not up to modern day standards of decor or facilities. All furniture/bed linens/drapes need updating, old style tv's need replacing with flat screens, fridge should come as standard in 5* hotel rather than having to pay extra. Overall, they just need a complete overhaul-looking v tired and dated and need to be brought up to date with what you expect these days when booking a 4/5* hotel.Emma15 November 2013
4.5 star ratingHotel is in an excellent area the beach is outside the back gate .you can walk to next resort along the beach front .The pool area is very large and the pool is excellent for swimming for all the family. You can find lots of bars and restaurants in a beautiful area.We don't have any negative feedback.01 December 2013
3.5 star ratingThe absolute best thing about this hotel, and the main reason we keep returning to it, has got to be its fabulous location! It is exactly where we want to be both during the day and of an evening. Out the front of the hotel you step straight on to the centre of Av. Las Americas (the 'golden mile'), and out the back beyond the huge pool area is the lovely Camison beach area with a lovely walk which takes you all the way through to Los Christianos. We also really like the pool towel service which enables you to get a nice clean and dry towel each day and also helps free up some much needed suitcase space! The hotel interior (from bedrooms to bathrooms to public spaces) needs a complete overhaul. There is no way the bedrooms are of the size or quality expected of a 4 or 5 star hotel-they are a 3 star at best. They are compketely dated with old fashioned, bordering on useless, facilities such as tv and hairdryer. I also don't agree with having to pay to hire the fridge in your bedroom-again, surely not a sign of a 4/5* hotel?! There has obviously been no upgrade to the bedrooms since the hotel was built 25 years ago and it is such a shame as they really are a disappointment. The hotel seems to be reliant on their fabulous location being enough to satisfy guests, and up to a point it does-afterall, we go there around 4 times a year! But to really be of at least a 4 star standard they need to refurbish the bedrooms and bathrooms as the entire place looks dated and tired. All of that said, however, I will still be returning due to the fab location of the hotel!emlou197821 March 2014
2.5 star ratingThe hotel was nice outside the room, which was not very clean, tiles broken and not clean, the bathroom smelling og pie, this is not a 4 or a 5 star hotel although everything out there had been redecorated but not the rooms since 1988. The garden and swimming pool were nice and the lobby and the O floor and the ground floor were nice the food was plenty of but I would never again buy half board ,breakfast was good. The hotel rooms were not very nice, small, not very clean and tiles broken inside the room and dust (thick) on the tiles and the toilet smet of pie even though it was cleaned (old smell)there was a dirt on the wall like a shitty thing and I asked to have that cleaned and it finally disappered from the wall 2 days before we left (stayed 14 days) and I did call manager on duty and she was not friendly at all and just said they didnt have any awailable room, never came to check the room and we were lucky to meet thi cleaning laydy who came and tried to do the room a little bit cleaner. We were told the hotel had not been redeorated since 1988 and that is a long time ago.Next time I will look for antother hotelEinarsdottir26 February 2015

4.0 star ratingGreat location on the beachfront. Walking distance to Los Cristianos and to las Americas strip. Super large pool. Refundable pool towel service, means you can get fresh towels every day.Restaurant got very hot, no air con. Rooms need refurbishing, they are looking their age now. We paid extra for a pool view room but the sun never reached our balconies.Anonymous 13 August 2015

4.0 star ratingHotel and outside areas are excellent. Breakfast also very good with large selection. Room is basic with old fashioned finishing such as the TV. Markieboy13 November 2015
2.0 star ratingMaybe good for families, not for couples.Evening meals were atrocious. Bathroom sub-standard... in particular the bath was worn and looked dirty as a result. This is not the standard anyone would expect from an alleged 5* hotel.Mick Pullen07 November 2015
3.5 star ratingA beautiful hotel outside and inside with a beautiful pool area. The walk in shower is a total disaster area, with soap dish way above your head, and it was impossible to shower without flooding the floor. The dining room staff although very helpful and manerable sometimes struggled to find tables near the food area for my wife who is disabled. The food is my worst complaint although there was plenty of it, it was never hot, always warm with much repitation every day.Jack R16 February 2017
