3.0 star ratingSpacious rooms.....Food was nicefelt the bathrooms could do with being updated.....did not like the blankets on the bed, felt quilts would be a lot cleaner. staff on the bar were not helpful....asked for 2 cokes and had to return them as it was coloured water! told the staff and was told the coke had ran out thats why we were given that!!27 October 2008

5.0 star ratingI've stayed in several "low cost" hotels, and I have to say that this has been the best by far. The rooms are clean, modern and have climate control. The quality of the breakfast was very good with it being replenished continuously. Although we did not eat dinner in he hotel others did and the presentation of it looked lovely. There were always plenty of staff around in the restaurant and bar who were always happy to help, polite and friendly. A big thumbs up!Trolly dolly28 July 2011

3.5 star ratingGood lunchtime food at the bar and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No on site parking made drop off and pick up difficult We arrived earlier than expected and the Hotel was very inflexible on check in time and we had to sit in the lobby area for nearly two hours before 2pm. We gave up trying to get a drink in the bar on Saturday night as the two bar staff could not get through the queue quickly enough. We were given a disabled room without being asked if we were okay with this. The bathroom looked tired (rusty around the grab rail) and in need of an update.Dave30 August 2014

5.0 star rating First time have ever stayed in this hotel chain.Clean, modern hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and well decorated. We didn't book breakfast with our room but were able to partake by paying on the morning and it was well worth it, plenty of variety to suit all, it was lovely. 2.5 star ratingLocation to port was excellent - rooms were acceptable even though priced quite highlyExtremely dangerous crossing outside the hotel - especially with children. Drinks prices very high and overpriced service was very slow but the hotel was very busy - seemed quite full. It was a very noisy hotel with doors constantly banging all through the night. having finally drifted off to sleep about 2ish we were woken at 04.35am by some really noisy people entering the rooms close by - again banging doors and generally very rowdy - felt like we were staying with a gang of "Football fans celebrating". When we arrived at breakfast still very tired we had to wait for eggs, having waited for them they then ran out of beans and bacon. By the time they were replenished the eggs were cold - we then stood waiting what seemed like an eternity for toast and the breakfast area itself was extremely untidy and unclean. We had to sit at a dirty table to start our breakfast (before it was all cold) and I then went to ask for the table to be cleaned - the lady said she would do it as soon as she could she was busy in the kitchen area. As we were finishing breakfast she came to clean the table and apologised that she was very busy and only just had the time - by this tome we had sat through and eaten breakfast at a dirty table. When checking out I was going to complain but as we were starting our holiday my wife said to leave it - I any event reception staff did not ask me if we enjoyed our stay or had any complaints - the final insult was they tried to charge our rooms for breakfast that was already included in the price. 4.5 star ratingClean room well presented, staff extremely helpful, as an hotel pretty much hits the mark.On a roundabout and very awkward to cross road in direction you need, no parking I found unacceptable and would not have booked this hotel had I known, had to park in council car park overnight at a cost of £12.80, which I wasn't happy about, will certainly for this reason not book this hotel again.
