4.0 star ratingHyggelig atmosfære. Hotellets kunstsamling er enestående. Hotellet ligger sentralt og i et rolig strøk. Rommet vi hadde, var stort sett praktisk innredet. Resepsjonen var svært behjelpelig og hyggelig.Det er ikke lagt spesiell vekt på å ha et fristende frokostbord. Vi måtte si fra om at appelsinjuicen første dag far gjæret. De kokte eggene var iskalde, og utvalget av brød var minimalt (grovbrød manglet). På rommet var det nesten ingen stikk-kontakter for lading av mobiler, kameraer etc. Anonym 16 May 2016
5.0 star ratingThe location was good, especially if you want to be near Laugavegur street where there are bars and shops aplenty. We had a rental car and always found space to park at the Hotel's parking lot across the street (although the spaces are really tight!). The staff were always polite and professional, helpful with directions, reservations, etc. The food in the restaurant was 5 star. The hotel itself has the cozy and warm feel of a woodpaneled study or library. The original Icelandic artwork throughout the hotel is reason enough to stay, incredible.The room was a lot smaller than the pictures online, it was pretty tight and we had to re-arrange the furniture to make our stuff fit. They only give you one tiny pillow per person but gave extra on request. 07 October 2012
