4.5 star ratingVery clean, high quality hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, with the most comfy bed i've ever slept and good facilities in the room - plasma TV/Ipod docking station etc. Very well situated for exploring the city.Although there are good restaurants/bars in the hotel there are no facilities such as a gym/pool/beauty salons etc.//c~Plenty of options available - Sightseeing tours/riverside walks 26 August 2008
2.0 star ratingRooms were too hot and the beds have a rubber mattress protector on them which makes for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. The fire alarm went off 2 days in a row in the early morning, probably caused by all the builders working throughout the hotel. Parking is not included nor do they have a special deal with nearby car parks which makes it very expensive to park. Do NOT stay here if you are taking a car!!!31 August 2008

4.5 star ratingI have stayed at the Europa Hotel on 4 occasions in the past 2 years. The staff are always very professional and helpfull and I always feel very comfortable there. I look forward to returning in the near future. I dont have anything negative to say.26 September 2008
4.5 star ratingI live in Belfast and used the hotel for my wedding night. The Europa kind of had a reputation in Belfast of being as bit run down and over priced. I have to say it is expensive, but I am very pleased to say it smashed all my expectations. The whole hotel had had a great makeover, the room was excellent with a flat screen wall mounted TV, ipod dock, and classy furnishings. Even the hallways look good these days. Breakfast was also outstanding and head and shoulders above any other hotel breakfast I have had anywhere else in a long time. This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. And it is so close to homeParking is difficult29 September 2008

5.0 star ratingHotel was fab, really friendly staff, breakfast was amazing, must have put on half a stone in 3 days. rooms were cosy, concierge and night porters were ever so helpful and couldnt do enough, Thank you all!Pauline16 April 2009
2.5 star ratingThe food was nice, the staff were friendly and the shower was excellent.I was told they only had smoking rooms available although i'd booked in advance and was not told this before. The room smelt strongly of stale tobacco and when i told them this the only thing they offered to do was to send someone to "freshen the room up" which consisted of a man bearing an aerosol can of air freshener. This lasted about 5 minutes. I failed almost entirely to sleep that night due to the constant smell which had embedded itself into everything including the pillows and sheets.23 April 2009
4.5 star ratingclean and large rooms. well-equipped bathrooms. good food. friendly and professional staff.lots of banging doors. cleaning staff need to be told to close the doors quietly when they have finished cleaning each room (or stronger door closers need to be fitted)Stephen H07 May 2009
4.5 star ratingGreat location, very central with a good breakfast.26 May 2009
4.0 star ratingThe hotel was very nice and the reception/restuarant staff very helpful and freindly. Room was very clean and spacious, well worth a visit.Bar staff not freindly and toilet in bar area was in an awful state, the stench was terrible. I used it once only because of this. Most hotels don't charge guests for WI FI broadband to guests, dissapointed with that.03 November 2009

3.0 star ratingThere is the hotel in the very convenient place. There is not a ventilation fan, and the bathroom is filled with moisture. I was hot, because the room does not have an air conditioner.miha05 July 2010
4.5 star ratingVery central location and very clean.Room was beside the lift which was very noisy all night. Would recommend to my friends when booking to request room away from lift. Also bar was freezing. Had to sit in lobby beside fire.30 November 2010
4.0 star ratingfront desk staff very helpfull,on our arrival and departure.Mr mcneill dealt with our complaint very well.Considering it is a 4star hotel,i had my worst night ever in any hotel.ive stayed in 2star and 3 star hotels all over Ireland and i never witnessed such bad behaviour in the corridors and other rooms on my floor.A bus load of noisy louts were partying till 3.30 in the morn. on 2 occasions someone attempted to enter our room and fisted the door when their key didnt work[thank god it didnt].shouting and screaming, singing and banging doors,it was actually frightening,we didnt know what was27 November 2012

5.0 star ratingFantastic!!!! The staff were amazing from start to finish, the best customer care service I've had for a while! On one side of the hotel is the train station and the other the opera house, and a short walk into the city centre, great location! I honestly couldnt think of a negativeAnonymous 19 December 2015
4.5 star ratingDespite being unfamiliar with the hotel comparison website 'Hotelopia' (that I booked through) the front desk staff displayed tip top professionalism and smoothed the issue. I was slightly worried that I had been victim of a website fraud. This was not so but HOTELOPIA perhaps needs to make their web presence more visible. Ate at The Causerie which was lovely and breakfast next morning was well organised with lots of choice. The lift was a bit challenging 😄 Anonymous 04 January 2017

3.5 star ratingGood location and friendly staffWasn't that overly impressed with breakfast it was just ok, Jury's is half the price and much better variety and quality! We ate dinner in the Causerie and again it was just ok, the main course was nice but the starter and dessert were disappointing. We wouldn't return to this hotel there are so many better hotels in Belfast.dee23 February 2016
