3.0 star ratingas you would expect in geneva the hotel was clean and was very much a tourist type concept. the hotel whilst very much in the city was decorated to look like a swiss alpine hotel. downstairs the restuarant was all fodue and the entertainment alpen horns and piano-organ music. I enjoyed my fondue and stay and would return for an odd night if I am in genevaparhaps a little unfair to put this as a negative about the hotel but I was there during the motor show and the price was outrageous as were all of the other hotels in geneva at the time. no real facilities like pool etcetera but at the right price its a good bet and fairly close to cornavin station and the lake.day tripper13 March 2009
4.0 star ratingThe service couldn't be faultedBecause I didn't call the hotel and specifically request a non-smoking room, I was put in a smoking room and they couldn't move me until the final night. For health reasons this is not optimal. I feel that tea and coffee facilities (as they are quite basic) should be included for the price, and not extra. Likewise, the price of breakfast was probably a little high for the food on offer (basic but very tasty, exactly what i want but I know others hoping for a cooked breakfast that was advertised would have been disappointed).03 June 2009
