Hotel Information

Strategically located in the West-Ring between Amsterdam bustling city centre, the Zuidas and the dynamic Schiphol Airport, the Artemis is more than a 4* deluxe, it stands with its own contemporary modern design. From the lobby to the rooms, Dutch design is evident in all shapes and forms. Guests will find the works of contemporary designers such as Marcel Wanders, Piet Hein Eek and Richard Hutten. The central meeting point of the hotel is the Restaurant-Bar 'De Stijl' with its waterside terrace where guests can enjoy a drink, a lunch or even dinner and during the summer months, the waterside terrace is just perfect to unwind. All the 256 designed rooms are cosy and comfortable with all the modern facilities including full air-conditioning, mini-bar, tea & coffee facilities, safe, free wireless internet, cable TV, phone, hair dryer and trouser press.(Guests booking a double room should note that the room consists of a twin bedded room).

4.5 star ratingIts a hotel that is near to the Airport but with easy access to the city eather by a direct bus right beside the Hotel that takes you right into the center. Or by Taxi the cost was always around Euro 25.- never more. Nice rooms, with free internet wifi connection. Food was excellent and the morning buffet was had very good selection.The only small negative points was that there is no ice buckets availble in your room, There is ice machines on each floor but no ice buckets.... strange! 3.0 star rating- ruhige Lage, gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel - Zentrum (Dam) mit S-Bahn ohne umsteigen in 30min zu erreichen - parken in Tiefgarage für 12 € pro Tag günstig (Fahrzeug konnte auch nach dem auschecken bis zur Abfahrt dort stehen bleiben)- in einem Zimmer war der Fernseher defekt, Reparatur sollte am nächsten Tag erfolgen - Reparatur ist jedoch bis zur Abreise am 3. Tag nicht erfolgt - Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig (1 von 4 gebuchten Zimmern war unbewohnbar und musste sogar 2x getauscht werden) - die anderen Zimmer waren im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung (bis auf Kalkflecken im Bad, Spinnweben an den Fenstern) - keine SCHUKO Steckdose im BadezimmerMrT23 August 2011

5.0 star ratingWhen we arrived we were upgraded to the business room, this was an amazing roomThe only thing that I could say that was bad is that it's quite a way from the centre on Amsterdam. You can get a bus from right outside during the day but at night it's a fair walk away and at midnight it's easy to get lost. Anonymous 28 May 2014
