5.0 star ratingthe hotel was ideally situated close to every attraction, the staff were very helpful in particular the ladies who served the breakfast area they were very pleasent so early in the morning, the bedroom was very clean. I would definetely return. I'm unable to find anything negative about the hotel10 September 2008
4.0 star ratingThe hotel was clean and brights and everyone was cheerful and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were small and difficult for my travelling companion who is a large man. Also my parents had the adjoining room and they had no cold water in the bathroom one evening and the next day the window fell out.l 04 October 2008
3.0 star ratingVery new and presentable. Excellent location for those wishing to explore the museums district. The staff were not very friendly and my room was not ready on time (I waited over 40 min). Internet security was an issue - I used their internet and had my details stolen for fraudulent purposes.27 October 2008
4.5 star ratingPerfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough to everything you would want to see in amsterdam! A last minute booking, on my 6th trip, and I have finally found a reasonably priced hotel with a decent sized room.05 November 2008

4.5 star ratingVery nice hotel in a quiet location but walkable to all the sights of Amsterdam. The Leidesplein are is only a 5 mins walk where a good variety of bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel has recently been renovated with everything being nice and new, however the rooms and the bathroom are very small. Having paid only 50 pounds a night it was definately good value for money. 2 Computer including a printer to be used free of charge in the lobby. Wifi apparently free, too.very small rooms02 February 2010
3.0 star ratingExcellent location , very clean and staff very helpful.Tiny rooms, quite claustrophobic, for sleeping only.frank12 October 2011
3.5 star ratingPleasant area close to shops, museums and parks. Plenty of good quality reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Rooms are modern, clean and tidy. (1) Booking staff appear to be badly trained. When I first made the booking £1360 Sterling was taken from my credit card instead of 1360 euros. This was corrected eventually and a receipt for 1360 euros for the two rooms sent to me. (2) On checking out at departure the Hotel claimed that the rooms still had to be paid for. This was eventually sorted out. We paid for any extras and departed the Hotel. (3) On arriving home I discovered when I contacted my credit card company that the Hotel had again tried to collect payment from my creditcard. After many emails and telephone calls between the Hotel and myself the money was refunded to my credit card. (4) All of the staff were extremely well mannered during our stay with one exception , a girl named Floor . Not only was she rude to me, but also to a Dutch friend who rang the Hotel to leave a message for us.05 May 2012
2.5 star ratingLocation was OK.Possibly the worst room I have stayed in, small even by Amsterdam standards. I couldn't open the bathroom door more than 2 feet without it banging against the end of the bed. There was a leak from upstairs in the bathroom. The staff on reception were quite abrupt. And the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable.Grego18 June 2012
