4.5 star ratingI thought this hotel was excellent value for money. It is not a 5 star hotel but is a great 3 star The people in reception - friendly, efficient helpfull - the room people were nice too. Its in a very convenient location with parking! For Portals this is great. There is a fridge in the rromOur aircon was useless (and other people's too) - we told them every day and every day they said they fixed it, but it was still too hot. Our friend had cold AC though. The coffee shop guy is difficult/unhelpful. The breakfast people do not interact with the guests - just keep the buffet filled. At 10:30 on the dot they close and are noisy "clearing up" as well. There are no coffee/tea facilities in the roomJohnA22 June 2009

4.5 star ratingThe staff couldn't be any more helpful, assisted with keeping luggage after check out til we departed for airport and offered fresh towels for showering in the clean courtesy room prior to us travelling to the airport. Lovely friendly atmosphere.If we were to mention anything to imrove, the foyer/reception are was a little dated, however it is more personal taste and the area was kept immaculately clean. 3.5 star ratingAs in the questions aboveThe hotel needs to be up dated as it in now looking very tired and worn. For example floor 5 and the wood panelling surface is peeling off, it appears the curtains are the same ones as were there three years ago when we last stayed in the hotel. The seal was missing from the bottom of the shower glass and the glass partition on the balcony was loose and rattled in the breeze making a very laud banging noise through the night, the last two faults were rectified almost immediately they were reported, thanks to the duty manager.george smythe02 October 2010

4.5 star ratingThis is a friendly and welcoming hotel. Very clean and staff polite and friendly. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful - although the restaurant closes at 10:30 am very promptly!! Tapas were very good and excellent value for money. Location is great for Portals Nous village and also for Peurto Portals. I will return!!Anonymous 27 October 2015
