3.5 star ratingNice view from our 10th floor room, and they took into account my request for a room high up with a sea viewReception staff not too friendly, very brusque and not welcoming at all. Room was average, quite dated.ianrob28 November 2011

4.0 star ratingOk standard on rooms and facilities. Breakfast also ok.My Ipod was stolen from inside my backpack in my room (it was well hidden inside my pack). Very unprofessional that cleaning personnel goes through your bags like that (it would have been different if I had left valuables visible at a table or similar). I willl for this reason never use this hotel again.09 December 2012
4.0 star ratingNice, clean hotel, staff pretty helpful and friendly, and a good location. Large American style breakfast, if on a budget you could load up at breakfast with enough to last all day.The plumbing was a bit "iffy," the bath/shower had only a hand-held shower unit, nowhere to hang it, the shower curtain was a bit mildewy, and the toilet required a certain amount of dexterity to get it to flush properly. Water only luke warm most times, but normally warm enough to shower.Paul18 December 2012

3.0 star ratingI would say this is a 'good' hotel for Havana if you want to avoid the most expensive resort hotels such as Iberostar. Not a bad location, but could be a little far from Old Havana for some people to walk.02 January 2013

4.0 star ratingAir conditioning and pool.Reception staff not very pleasant, attending to queries appeared to be an effort, definitely no service with a smile from the staff apart from the housekeepersMazza01 March 2013
1.5 star ratingThe tour bus stops right in front of the hotel, which is a plus if you plan to have a city bus tour.I understand that this is a very old hotel and has not been renovated at all for decades. However, at least they need to maintain the place 'clean.' I cannot understand how they've received that many stars. The hallway of the second floor was really dirty and almost felt like a haunted house. The rooms were even worse. The windows did not close and had power outrage. We were moved to another floor with better--I mean with power and closed window. The worse part is the buffet. No hotel flavor at all. Traveller25 December 2013
3.0 star ratingThe room was spacious. The corridors at least on the 6th floor were very unclean with lot of garbage on the carpet outside the elevators and troughout the hole corridor. It seemed that it was never vacum cleaned? Do they have vacum cleaners? The service was vey slow in the breakfast room and at 9.30 almost all the food was finished even the breakfast was until 10.00 am. The waiters only concern was to gather breakfast for themselves which they took for several plates and covered with napkins. Very unprofessional.Finlandia26 December 2013
3.5 star ratingFairly good location. The air conditioning in the room worked well and the pool area was great. The food was average and hotel was dated (not uncommon in Cuba).Anonymous 10 August 2014
