Perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient medina and the souks, the beautiful Riad Chorfa is a palace dating back to the 18th century, caringly restored and opened in 2000 as a luxury boutique hotel. It has maintained many of its Moorish features, such as a lovely interior courtyard with a fountain. Famous Djemma el Fna square is only 400 metres away; the traditional markets can be reached within a 2-minute stroll. Ben Youssef Madrasa with its 16th-century Islamic architecture is within a 10-minute walk. A wonderful place to start exploring this fascinating city.

5.0 star ratingDas Riad ist mitten in der Medina und sehr schön und ruhig. Das Personal (z.T. englischsprachig) ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfebereit. Man organisierte uns ohne Schwierigkeiten einen Mietwagen, zu dem wir gerabcht wurden und das schönste war, dass wir ein Zimmer-upgrade ohne Aufpreis erhielten. Das Zimmer hatte einen direkten Zugang zur Terrasse, auf der man einen grandiosen Blick über die Stadt hat. Tipp: unbedingt auf der Terrasse frühstücken - auch das machte das Personal möglich!
