3.5 star ratingThe Place is an oasis in a very hectic part of the Town, that is for sure. It is a wonderful building, Beautiful Moroccan architecture, serene, a nice pool in the middle of the building, very cosy and very comfortable. The staff is very nice and they really go out of their to be of assistance. The terrace is Beautiful, you can have your breakfast there if you want to and enjoy the view - it is really great. The breakfast could have had more variety, I Think, it consisted only of pancakes, some pieces of bread, and cakes. So, if you are on a healthy diet you really need to take care of your own breakfast. If you are a woman and travelling with a female friend, like I was, you need to Think about some vital things when you are going out at nights. In the Medina, where the riad is, you cannot "easily" go out at nights. The area is poor and of a lower class, people (men) stare at you and you have to cover yourself - at nights you have to be more careful. People, Tourists and even Moroccans, go out in Gueliz area, where all the nice places are (restaurants, nightclubs etc). If you want to put on a nice dress on to go out at night you need to Contact a driver/taxi driver and make sure that he comes to the front door of the riad and Escort you to the main road where he parks his car. There is a small road (2-3 min walk) from the main road (Kasbah street) to the riad where it is difficult for a car to drive in. You don't want to walk on these streets with a short skirt on, for instance. So, make sure that the driver comes to the door to pick you up and Escort you. Whatever you do, make sure that you agree on the price BEFORE you enter the car. Taxi drivers have a tendency to "forget" details. My advice is to find someone that you Think is ok and call him every time you want to go somewhere by taxi, they will be more than happy to assist you then. 19 September 2013
