3.0 star ratingLinen clean, food good. Friendly staff.Room needed refurbishing, looked very shabby. The mattresses needed renewing both the twin beds in our room dipped considerably in the middle and made sleeping very uncomfortable. Difficult to get in and out of bath safely, no non-slip mat available. The step down from the bath was quite big. Air conditioning noisy14 August 2008

4.5 star ratingThe hotel is in a fantastic location. It is within easy walking distance to all the main attractions of the city and is also close to the tram station. Although a little dated the hotel is very clean (beds made/towels changed every day etc). Also had a safe, hair dryer, mini bar, iron Friendly, helpful staff. I asked for a special request of champagne in our room as I was visiting for a special occassion and this was organised for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative point is that the hotel is a little dated but this kind of adds to its charm and it is extremely clean so it was not a major problem to us.12 June 2009

4.0 star ratingExcellent location for exploring Bordeaux as the hotel is very central, located beside many restaurants and bars. Would recommend this hotel for it location, 1 minute from the Grand Theatre and no need for any taxi fares during your stay.09 October 2012
