4.0 star ratingExcellent location but not noisy or busy because set away from the main road. You can also get to the main road from the hotel by walking through Starhill which is air conditioned and tranquil. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful but they also perform their job very professionally and efficiently.The housekeeping could be more thorough because I found dirt and hairs in the same position on the floor for 3 days. The taxi service outside the hotel is more expensive than the regular public taxis. The service at breakfast can be quite slow if they are busy.Maria Tai31 August 2009
2.5 star ratingIt had a lovely beach which was clean and the water was so clear you could see to the bottom. The pool was lovely with stools in one section so you could sit in the water and read and there was also a jacuzzi section in the pool. The bathroom was big. You walk over a sort of bridge to get to the shower and loo. There were 2 openings in the ceiling which is a nice idea but they let in the heat. When it rained, the rain would fall the large pebbles underneath the openings.There were quite alot of mosquitos in the room. They provided an electric mosquito repellent but it only made abit of difference. The beach,pool, restaurant and reception could be better signposted. There were not enough deckchairs in the pool area and on the beach. People were saving deckchairs at 8am. Alot of couples stayed at this hotel. Not really for families.Maria Tai31 August 2009
