5.0 star ratingLovely hotel with attentive staff, particularly towards our young son. Very cosy bar lounge area. Room was excellent and very clean with what looked like new decor. Nice bathroom also. Breakfast was nice enough; dinner was excellent with a wide choice. Would definitely return to this hotel.TV lounge could do with some heating installed.27 October 2008
2.5 star ratingThe hotel dealt with our complaint promptly and with courtesy.I phoned the hotel prior to contacting you. I was offered a double bedded room (no 21) with a small bunk room for over £100. Your offer was better at over £70, for a standard double. When we arrived we were given the double/ bunk/suite. At first we thought we had been upgraded, since the accommodation also had a sitting room ( which was right off the dining room so you could hear the chatter of diners and clunking of cutlery while watching tv!). However, the bedroom suite was freezing cold. The bathroom had no central heating and was badly in need of an upgrade. The hotel had been informed that we had arrived and were dining at the sister hotel Crieff Hydro, so we would have imagined the rooms would have been warm for our arrival. We booked in around 10.30pm and for an hour we persevered, trying to heat ourselves up, until eventually we realised we would be cold in bed (although the bedding was spotless, there were no mattress protectors on the beds) and complained to the staff. At first we were told the hotel was fully booked so nothing could be done but five minutes later we received a call in our room to say that we could move to room 1 - a standard twinbedded room we had been offered by you in the first place. This room met all our requirements. The manageress was courteous and apologetic, but the incident would make us think twice about booking in the Murray Park. Grayce31 January 2011

5.0 star rating We found the hotel to be peaceful ,comfortable and clean. Comfortable dining room and pleasant bar area. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked. Good parking and within walking distance of Town centre. We would recommend this well run hotel. This was our first visit and hope to return.A slip mat for the shower may be helpful for particularly older people. Otherwise we had no complaints.David 27 September 2013
