3.5 star ratingWell, the main positive point is the price, if you don't expect more than what you pay for.Location is not so great as it is surrounded by abandoned resorts but it is walking distance (10 min) to the strip. Montechoro was great 30 years ago but now it needs a complete makeover. jlascas11 June 2013
4.5 star ratingEnjoyed our stay staff very friendly and helpful. Room basic but clean with comfortable beds with duvets instead of blankets which I prefer but had blankets in the wardrobe if needed. Always had really hot water when needed. Beds were comfortable. Cleaners visited everyday with clean towels. We were top floor so nice view of area. Supermarket very handy and only a short walk. Bus service to Oura beach and Albufeira town. Could do with a sharp knife in the kitchen as we had to buy one and could do with updating the TV in the room we joked the microwave was bigger but these aren't major problems.
