4.0 star ratingVery pleasant and nice and central. Not too far from train station.Extremely poor parking arrangements. Prior to arrival I was advised the car park was small but that if it was full there was on street parking. This was expensive and only valid for an hour at a time so we had to be on hand to feed the meter which prevented us from doing other things. As an adult travelling with a child and a non driver it was difficult to get luggage to and from the car when we checked in and out. 24 February 2009
4.0 star ratingThe staff were really helful when I asked for bus time times to Aberdeen Uni.The only problem I had with the hotel was that the shower was cold in the morning.27 March 2011

3.5 star ratingReception staff very nice, and hotel reception and bar very nice. Great location in central Aberdeen. Stained blanket on bed. Bathroom grubby, and window sill in bathroom absolutely disgusting. TV would not work despite following a special instruction card provided in room on how to operate tv! Very noisy, could hear everything from rooms above and around me. Aberdeen visitor30 April 2013
5.0 star ratingThe hotel was lovely and clean. We got to stay in room 119 as we asked for a room with a walk in shower due to my partners arthritis and I can honestly say it was the nicest room Ive stayed in. The hotel knew it was our anniversary so sent up champagne and fruit which was lovely. We took advantage of the free parking which was just off Union Street so perfect. Its in a great location and a lovely hotel.Cannot comment anything negative, it was a great stay.Meghan07 May 2013

5.0 star ratingThe Hotel was very good central to everywhere, and the room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was very clean but I would have thought there would have been a extractor fan and the bathroom window didn't open so the bathroom steamed up very quickly. But apart from that it was 9/10.Moppey08 May 2013

3.5 star ratingExcellent location and 2 out of 3 rooms booked were ok.Had 3 rooms booked with different family members, everyone paid the same price, I had booked 2 of these but we all received different standard of rooms, 1 room was exceptionally hot and became unbearable, shower thermostat was not working had scolding hot water coming out, windows did not open and there was no light coming in the window. (Room 105)We reported to manager who agreed that this room was unacceptable, as we had only been staying for 1 night the manager offered my family a cold drink .Jack18 June 2013

1.5 star ratingWe found it to be a warm friendly hotel. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. The location and proximity to shops perfect. Rooms spotless. Would recommend for any category of guest ie person travelling alone, business person, family etc. The hotel felt very safe and secure and represented excellent value for money. We would definitively stay there again. Our son found his room a little too warm.25 June 2013
4.0 star ratingEverything about this hotel worked well for us and we would definitively return. Represented great value for money. My parents endorse this positive response who also stayed at the same time . The hotel was very clean in all respects. The staff are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. It's a great location with a lovely atmosphere and we all felt very safe and secure there. The hair dryer is nice and powerful . Next time there will be no need to bring our own hair dryer.Room a little too warm at night.29 June 2013

5.0 star ratingHotel and staff were excellent. When we turned up they didn't have a record of our booking but the staff were nothing but courteous. We were offered a complimentary drink whilst we waited on them sorting it out then when it was time to check in we were informed that we had been upgraded to a delux room! The room was lovely, very spacious with all the usual amenities. The location was also excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we can get as good a deal as last time we would definately go back to this hotel. Karleen23 July 2013
4.5 star ratingThe trainie staff who was on the desk was very friendly and helpful (even when myself and brother couldn't work the door key). The beds and chairs in the room are really comfortable and the bathroom was clean, i can't comment on the food from here as we didn't eat at the hotel. There was no noise from outside the room which meant a quiet night sleep. Overall, I would happily stay there again and recommend it! Even the spider that crawled across my pillow didn't put me off and im petrified of them. 01 October 2013

3.5 star ratingThis is the second time that I have stayed at the hotel, the first time I stayed I got an upgrade to a room at the front of the hotel. Beautiful room but so noisy as you can hear the music from Revolution across the gardens. This time the room was a lot smaller and the shower in the bathroom, room 410 was rubbish. All I got was a trickle of water. It was a saturday night we stayed and think people much use this hotel for nights out in Aberdeen as it can be noisy when people are coming in late at night and there is also a pub along the road that you can hearRachie12 November 2013
