4.5 star ratingThis hotel is ideally located in old town Mykonos, a step away from the trendy spots but not next to loud restaurants, shops and clubs. It is ideal for families and groups, as you can cook and relax a little in a larger place than a regular hotel room, even on the patio, and still get back to the action quickly. A basic but perfectly comfortable apart-hotel, and in the blue-white decor of the old town. You get to it quickly from the ferry, a total 10 minute walk with luggage and children.I did not have an address for the hotel from the website. I had no idea that the apart-hotel did not have its own lobby, but that the key was with staff in a travel agency near the port of the old town. I stumbled upon that travel agency, asking for the location of the hotel, and they simply provided a staffmember who took us to the hotel - a 2 minute walk - and gave us the key and opened the apartment. I had to find the breaker to turn on the hot water boiler, as it was off to save electricity. So a bit short on the welcome, but a great bargain in all. There was a little toilet paper but only one large towel and two hand towels, so bring your own supplies, and you will need to buy dish detergent, which is to be expected. 02 November 2008
