5.0 star ratingThe staff were really helpful, nothing was a problem for them. The food , cleanliness were excellent. The location was perfect next to the railway station and trams. Hooters just down the - 100m away - perfect for the lads or some lassies !!None07 October 2008

4.0 star ratingBreakfast was very good.We arrived back at teh hotel at 2.40am on saturday morning, to find quite a lot of people in the bar, so we went to order a drink, only to be told the bar was closed, So we went up to our room to order room service, (drinks and food) to be told sorry you can't have anything to drink, but if you would like to have some food you can come down to reception to order it!!! The person on the phone wasn't very curtious, and I have never been to a hotel where you can't get room service no matter what the time. Bed very small, and when you go to sit on them they move! Not very good for health and safety standards.21 July 2010
5.0 star ratingexcellent- room spotless modern very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Excellent location next to the station and 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. Parking 1-2 minutes walk. Staff very friendly. One of the cleanest and best hotels I've stayed innone13 July 2010
3.0 star ratingThe staff were freindly and professional and the breakfast offered good choice and tasted fine. The room we stayed in was not worth the £60 I paid. There was a huge stain on the carpet and marks on the ceiling and walls. My main disappointment was the cleanliness; there was dust all over the pictures in the room, the carpet was not as clean as it could have been and there were a few hairs in the bath that did not belong to myself or my partner (we hadn't used it by that point)!Miss Blackman31 August 2010

4.5 star ratingWell presented hotel, clean, good facilities. Good check-in and check-out procedure, staff very professional and helpful with local knowledge. Hotel 2minutes from railway station, 10minutes walk to city centre, very good city location. Car-parking short walk away (separate charge (check on booking))None.Ding15 December 2010
3.5 star ratingThe room was very clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. It would have been nice to be able to get an iron and ironing board in the room rather than having to queue in a room that was not signposted. We didn't end up having breakfast due to lack of space and queues almost out of the door. I thought it was expensive for what we got! Tash10 May 2011
4.5 star ratingClean rooms and comfortable bedsMy room 1008 was very noisy has it seemed to have the water tank in it. All I could hear was the sound of running water all night. I didnt like that the housekeeping wanted to have access to my room to clean it before 12. They should be given a list of people who have already checked out. Then after I had had breakfast and returned to my room, my key card had been deactivated. Very annoying trip back to reception to get it reactivated21 November 2011

2.0 star ratingI have stayed in this hotel many if times before and have never been disappointed. Firstly we got to the hotel and they couldn't find out booking so we had to pay again, then we got to the hotel room, it was nothing special very disappointed in this due to the price we have paid. I found sticky marks with hair attached on the toilet wall, walking round the room there were a lot more sticky marks and floor was sticky in places. We moved rooms and still was not happy with cleanliness but I settled for it! Overall very disappointed in the hotel rooms!!28 November 2012
4.0 star ratingThis hotel is good if your a planning on having a night out in Nottingham as it is full of hen/stagg parties. Wouldnt reccomend it to anyone who is planning on having a quiet stay.Gurps14 May 2013
3.5 star ratingFriendly hotel. Ideal location. Value for money if u get a deal. We have stayed many times and the price really varies. This time we were not so lucky. Superior rooms still only have a standard double bed. We have been told by staff the only diff between standard and superior are the two bottles of water that reception sell for £1 and wifi.. However the difference in prices for the two rooms can be steep.... Overall a good hotel that we will use but cld do more with making the rooms reflect their sometimes high prices.. 29 October 2013

4.5 star ratingIm sorry I didnt eat at the hotel, so not able to give a precise score, so Ive relied on what the food looked like and the presentaion of it while I was looking around the buffet, ie, it was clean, smelt good and folk seemed happy? Altogether I think this is one of the most professionally run hotels Ive ever been in.Crazy windy passageway to reception, nearly blew the 2 x women I was with into the bushes? Also Im a lighting designer, and you should have employed one for the hotel rooms, as they are all a bit wrong, but most people wouldnt know unless I pointed it all out?john stevens05 November 2013
3.0 star ratingClean and modern - breakfast was goodthe room was very cold - the room card key also is used for the electric so the heating is only on when the room is occupied. We stayed on a very cold night in December and it was obvious the room had not had any heating for some time it was so cold - the heating system was very noisy. There was a electric fire in the wardrobe which we pulled out and used to try and get warm. The mattress had seen better days and sagged in the middle - One of the worst nights sleeps I have had at any hotel I have stayed at. There is no parking and the car park they recommend is further away than expected we were lucky it wasn't raining.27 December 2013

4.0 star ratingI found the hotel to be clean and tidy. the staff we're extremely polite and helpful to any enquiries we hadthe room that we were given was not the same as it looked on the website. we were given a double standard room which had a separate single bed as well as a double bed. myself and my partner would've preferred to have had the extra space instead of the extra bed I arrived while there was a couple of days of persistent rain and access to the hotel's main entrance was compromised due to huge puddles which were difficult to spot during the evening/nightAnonymous 21 October 2014

4.0 star ratingexcellent value for moneyHot plate was not turned on for breakfast so cold plates. Restaurant closed on Friday due to Xmas bash. Was offered bar eating.....not likely ! ! Restaurant close to reception which was quite draftyAnonymous 08 December 2014
2.5 star ratingI am a great fan of Jury's inn. But this Jury's inn is the worst I have stayed in. It was nowhere appealing as much as the birmingham one. The beds and interior so much more better at the Birmingham Jury's inn. This one has much to learn from the Birmingham. And also before you pay for the hotel, can you mention the parking is ridiculously stupid. I own a very expensive car, high end and most likly my car is worth than the Jury's inn carpark. Thank god their was the station car park near to the hotel with proper parking facilities. Personally I dont recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Your better to stay at the Premier inn opposite to Jury's Inn.Anonymous 17 February 2015
5.0 star ratingVery clean everything I needed, just right for me close to railway station and public transport as I don't drive. Staff very friendly and professional, over all I liked my stay at the hotel, and when I visit my family again I shall stay there again. Thank you.Not a lot of negative things to say, The shower curtain could do with being a little longer, and maybe a small light or dimmer switch to control lights during night as not to disturb others sleeping. Thanks.Anonymous 19 June 2017

3.5 star ratingNice clean room and good beds and comfort.Bit of refurbishment work going on outside and around the hotel but no big issue there as that didn't affect our stay. Biggest negative was the noise at 6am while still trying to sleep from the numpties in adjacent rooms, banging and bouncing around and talking loudly. No idea what was going on. Tried to call down to reception several times from our room to complain but no answer from the front desk which wasn't good. Did complain on checkout the same day as we only stayed one night but only to be met with a simple apology that nobody was around when we tried to call. Breakfast was ok but not enough staff and nobody clearing up and cleaning tables so we had to clean our own table as best we could. Would probably try and find a different hotel if we stayed in Nottingham again.Anonymous 03 July 2017
3.0 star ratingFront desk clerk Michaela was a gem! Very, very helpful when we had a mix-up on our booking. A problem solver. Please congratulate her.No way anyone can use this hotel if they have a vehicle. Hopelessly inadequate parking provisions. Need to finish the bar quickly. Very uncomfortable arrangements to have drinks in the lobby.Anonymous 05 July 2017
5.0 star ratingA brief stay but a comfortable stay where most needs were met adequately. Staff very helpful and professional. Rooms very good. Breakfast very good. All in all... Very good service and value for money. The only point the hotel failed to meet needs well was regarding overnight parking. Had to leave car in a less than secure looking car park nearby the hotel and so have to carry bags etc some way. Anonymous 03 January 2016
