3.5 star ratingThe rooms are very modern and clean. I had the single room, it's closer to the size of a cupboard but perfectly acceptable for one night sleeping accommodation (bathroom door only partly opens before it hits the bed, there's no room to use the chair at the table either) More importantly, the £10 charge for the secure carpark is total rubbish, the carpark is waste ground in the dark at the back of the hotel in front of derelict garages. I was luck to have a 4x4 since you have to bump over a high curb to gain access to parking. Since it is not gated, I was told there is monitored CCTV (reply to me saying I was uncomfortable at leaving my car on waste ground in the dark behind the hotel which as full public access) however when I left the hotel at 05:15 the 24hour receptionist was snoring on the sofa in the dark, which is probably why he didn't make my alarm call either.Mordred197304 November 2013
