3.5 star ratingVery nice clean room, impressive shower facilities and digital television. Reasonably priced and not too far from the airport at all. Included was parking which is an added bonus and breakfast but I was up too early to take this, but they said I could help myself to cereal and bread if I came down before it opened.No internet included. No dinner, probably because there is a harvester right next door, literally a few seconds walk out of the hotel door. Basic hotel facilities. 4 miles from the airport, but thats not too far!will18 August 2011
1.5 star ratingI often stay at Holiday Inn Express and have never been so disappointed in one! The room was freezing cold, the receptionist not particulary bothered. Had to phone twice. There was some improvement but not much. I can only write it down to the area being busy with Gatwick Airport and plenty of customers. Wouldn't have like to have been a foreign guest from a hot country.22 February 2013

4.0 star ratingUpon arrival the staff were very quick in getting us through the booking in process. We ended up having to change rooms throughout our stay but both were very clean with very good facilities - especially the shower! Breakfast was also very good with a wide range of foods to choose from.Upon arriving in our room - No 224 - we were immediately confronted with a dreadful grinding noise that came and went every few minutes. After tolerating this for a few hours we complained to reception who were apologetic but said the noise was people going up and down in the lift. They said it had been doing it for a while and even though people had come to look at it it was still not resolved. If the staff hadn't moved us to another room this would have completely ruined our stay. MR IAIN 12 April 2013

4.0 star ratingClean, neat, comfortable. Handy for the airport and central Crawley if you have a car. Good service. Decent breakfast. pretty good value for money when compared to other options. Second night spoiled by fire alarm at 1 am which was still ringing briefly every couple of minutes until after 2.30 - had airport run at 4 so got virtually no sleep. Caused by someone smoking in bedroom apparently, and whilst one can't legislate for idiots, it would have been great to get back to sleep more quickly!30 April 2013

5.0 star rating This hotel is very friendly and has a professional outlook.. the breakfast room was clean and the food very nice. There was no noise in my ground floor room and was cleaned to perfection and linen changed frequently. Plenty of parking was provided free. I have no qualms about recommending this hotel to anyone.the bar is perhaps a little expensive.Junie04 June 2013

4.0 star ratingRooms are very clean and are equipped with everything you need for a short business stay. Bed was very comfortable and selection of firm and soft pillows excellent. The TV had a good selection of channels which is useful when travelling on your own. The location of the hotel for me was fantastic, so close to where I needed to be.Rooms are not particularly big. Hot breakfast was pretty inedible, but the selection of cereals, juices and pastries made up for it.J924 July 2013

4.0 star ratingClean and comfortable.Turned up at 20.30 on Fri evening and the car park was full!!! Duty manager said that this was due to the Harvester being busy and it should clear in the next hour or so! No use to us with a 2 year old, who'd been travelling all day, who needed to be put to bed! Manager then told us to park the car for the time being in front of the Harvester's 'fire exit' gates!!!!!!!!!!!!! Breakfast the next morning was a joke too.....not enough staff resulting in there not being enough hot / cold food for the amount of people waiting for it! VERY POOR MANAGEMENT OVERALL!!!07 August 2013
