2.5 star ratingA beautiful hotel which hosts a fantastic and relaxed lobby area, myself and my partner spent most of our time here reading and chatting. Check - in on our arrival was terrible. the receptionist was very vacant about everything including where our room was, what time breakfast was at etc., any question we asked seemed to be quite an effort for her to respond - not a good start. Our room was full of the smell of dampness - I felt, because we had booked via easyjet we were given the lowest standard of room - my money is as good as any other's - we eventually changed to a different room. The menu although varied had a limited and boring selection for the vegetarian diet.10 September 2008
5.0 star ratingWish we could have stayed longer but we had to check out at 4am to catch a plane. Very professional staff. Very pleasant meal in the restaurant. No noise at all from planes taking off/landing at nearby Gatwick airport. Definitely recommended.25 October 2008

5.0 star ratingThis hotel is a very comfortable, affordable hotel. The breakfast was really good and the quality of the staff was extremely good. The air conditioning/heating in our room was not working, and the staff were happy to assist us even though it was 1am! They even offered to move us room, if we were uncomfortable.None! 03 November 2008

4.5 star ratingwhen i booked, i got the impression that it was very close to Gatwick Airport. Although the hotel is very nice, it is quite far away from airport - it took us 25 minutes to get to the hotel with the local bus service.05 January 2009
4.0 star ratingThe decor in the lobby was very nice and the staff were excellent.I wasn't impressed with the room. We were given like 1 tea bag and 2 sugars. Also the shower leaked, there were no hand towels and there wasn't a lot of toiletries or toilet paper for that matter. I would have expected the room to be a bit more stocked for a 4 star hotel. Also I was unable to find baby food or even apple juice for my son. The store there was fairly limited.06 January 2009

I arrived late in evening and the entrance from Crawley Station platform was very difficult to see until one was almost standing at it - so a bigger sign with more lights would be useful - also signs further up the platform telling arriving hotel customers which direction to head in. More than two teabags and a bit more sugar would have been appreciated28 January 2009
4.5 star ratingSunday morning at 10:30 am there was no restaurant service available for breakfast other than bar snack. Seems that a 4 star hotel should have good food service available on a lazy late Sunday morning for guests that have enjoyed the morning in a relaxed manner. 17 March 2009

5.0 star ratingExtremely clean and comfortable for our overnight before flying out from Gatwick early morning. Excellent value (£55) per room. Transfers to and from airport quick (10 mins door to door) and efficient using hotel bus (£2,50) pp each . Reserve a place on the bus for return to airport when checking in. This saves time in the morning and guarantees your seat. Wish we had been staying longer!None06 July 2009
5.0 star ratingI just travelled from Sydney-Singapore-London-Prague-Milan-Bucharest-Milan-Paris-Venice-London-New York-Los Angeles-San Diego-Sydney. This property was hands down, the best value for money in the whole trip. It is quite a trek out of the city, but the service, food and experience was impeccable. I needed to leave at 4:30am for an early flight and the hotel staff went out of there to ensure I was offered breakfast before my flight. Incredible.Leighton04 September 2009

5.0 star ratingI have stayed in this hotel many times now and it is a beautiful hotel and the service i receive there is always top quality. The staff are extremely professional and welcoming. The rooms are always clean and well maintained.And the whole experience is always enjoyed by both me and my partner.The only negative things really are the prices regarding food would like them to be cheaper as i would be more like not to go out for breakfast.alk3dan14 July 2013
