Breakfast pack edible but not great. | I had an early flight on 20th December so booked in at Jurys Inn Heathrow for the night of Saturday 19th December. I phoned the hotel on the afternoon of Saturday 19th to advise them that I would be checking in late, after 11pm, and (as I had problems with my printer at home) asked if I would be able to access the internet and print out from their computer when I was there. They told me that the business centre would close at 11pm but would open again in the morning at 5am. I said, fine, I will use the business centre in the morning before I check out at 6:30am. When I came to check out on Sunday morning I was told that the business centre was closed and would not open until 7am. In vain did I protest that I had specifically enquired and been told the previous afternoon that it would open at 5am. The receptionist would not help. He said the room was locked and he had no internet or printer access and there was no I could use the internet until 7am. I wanted to print out an insurance document. Had I been told the day before that this would not be possible before 7am, I would have made other arrangements. As it was this caused me considerable inconvenience on the first day of my holiday, as well as a great deal of anxiety on the flight due to the fact that I was travelling without proof of my insurance cover. I am very unhappy about this. Staff should make quite sure that they do not give inaccurate information to guests, especially when asked a specific question about when a facility will be available on a particular day. For this reason I gave the lowest mark above under "Facilities" because they were not available to me when I had been told that they would be. | 31 December 2009 | |

It is the second time I have stayed in the last 2 years. There was a mix up with the booking through Hotelopia (they claimed breakfast was included when it wasn't). | 4.0 star rating | I was pleasantly surprised by Jurys Inn hotel near Heathrow. I basically wanted an hotel, not one that would break the bank, near the airport for an early morning flight. But also links that would take me to central london pretty quickly. Hatton Cross tube station is just round the corner, and has a straight picadilly line connection which doesnt require much changing. But I was surprised at how fresh and new the hotel looked, the room was good, beds comfortable (though i must say the pillows left something to be desired - too soft). Biggy I was cold in the night so went to retrieve the blanket (in plastic cover) from on top of wardrobe, on pulling the blanket down various crap fell on my head and two live cockroaches were seen in the blanket. Ok for me lived in Indonesia and the Middle East for the past 10 years so used to bugs but others may have taken more offense. Check in staff were really helpful. The young lady ask us what we were doing that evening, and with out any prompting started showing us a much better route on the tube.
