3.0 star ratingStaff were friendly - particularly in the Trade Winds resort - waitress very helpful and provided good recommendations of the area and resort. Bar staff at Guy Harvey very good and made some fab cocktails! Overall, there appears to be good comradeship and all the staff try to be helpful to their guests.We checked in and immediately arrived to the resorts fire alarm testing which was such an annoying sound and then an evacuation test! After this - We then went to order food from the beach snack bar and were advised we could not sit outside as there was a scheduled photo shoot! We were tired and hungry after a 2hr trip so not the best welcome! The hotel could also do with a complete refurbishment- it looks very tired and worn.....as a family from the UK wanting some downtime at the beach from the Orlando parks it made do and we had a nice time but don't think we will be returning to this hotel.Anonymous 01 September 2015
4.5 star ratingGreat location , with fantastic views from the gulf suites , but you do pay for it . Staff are really friendly and seem happy at their work . We have visited several times now and this was the first time the waterpark had been opened, apart from paying $16 each for an hour it was great fun and we would do it again next year .
