3.0 star ratingVery good , helpful staff. First class breakfast.Room 327 was clean but basic. No wi-fi or trouser press as advertised.Our room had 2 cut off water pipes sticking out of the floor. the door to the room had been damaged along the the hinge side and the paint was missing. The lever to operate the shower was missing and had been replaced by a bolt which had a rough edge and made using the shower difficult. the bathroom light was stuck to the wall with brown tape, but the worst thing was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been in . Below our room was the ventilation equipment was gave off a continous loud humming noise , all the corridors smelled of food and the hotel public bar was to say the very least rowdy with shouting and swearing going on into the early hours of the morning all 3 nights of our stay, as we checked out other guest where complaining about the public bar but the receptionist just told them to ask for a room at the other end of the hotel next time. Sorry to be negative but I would not go back to this hotel. The Bar food was revolting and we ate elsewhere after the first night. this is my first ever negative report about a hotel and I suspect that as we booked a deal through your company at a cheap price w got the worst room allocated to us.As I suspect the room was given to us because of the deal I will probably have to book direct with hotels in the future as this room was nothing like the images seen on the website.buy cheap get cheap05 June 2013
