2.0 star ratingGood foyer and entertainment was a surprise if amatuerish.The room was very small, the shower didn't work, the view from window was extremely poor.Hated it! Very steep slope to hotel which is certainly not ideal for elderly couples like us! Hated it!28 October 2008

5.0 star ratingI cannot speak too highly of this excellent value for money hotel. Friendly reception, excellent daily cleaning and plenty of TV chanels. Outdoor and indoor pool, both well maintained. There are excellent sea views from the upper floors.If you are not as young or as fit as you were, be aware that there is a steep climb to this hotel. However, the same is true of many hotels in Madeira and if you don't like hills, you would be well advised to holiday elsewhere. Building work is taking place on the site next door but I did not find this a problem and I was fascinated by the Portuguese building techniques and their interesting attitude to health and safety!23 December 2009

3.5 star ratingBom pequeno almoço, simpatia do pessoal, quarto espaçoso, bar da piscina agradável para se estar, a existencia do SPA apesar dos aspectos negativos do mesmo. Animação todas as noites apesar dos aspectos negativos da mesma. Se voltasse procuraria outro hotel.Almoço muito fraco em relação ao preço. Jacuzi insuficiente Sauna minuscula, pouco quente, e porta contra as normas de segurança.(fecha por dentro) Piscina interior sem vigilancia (não frequentei a piscina exterior) Preços de bar exorbitantes. O texto dos folhetos no quarto fazem supor que entre as 18 e as 19 há happy hour nos bares com desconto de 50% em todas as bebidas o que não corresponde á realidade. Anomação todas as noites (bom) mas animadores fraquitos. A musica que se segue para os hospedes dançarem é exclusivamente Rock (Jive). O serviço de quartos, a partir do segundo dia, esqueceu-se de colocar toalhas de bidé e não substituiu um copo partido.12 September 2011
