4.0 star ratingReally looked after by the pool bar, dining and cleaning staff. Pool area was very relaxing. View of the sea was fantastic. Beach area lively. English only restaurant very welcome (All Seasons). Speciality restaurants a welcome change to the buffet restaurant.Rooms were a little tired - nothing that would spoil a holiday but not quite what was expected from a 5 star resort. More variety in the buffet restaurant would be welcome however, it was nice to have an English only restaurant and the speciality restuarants provided the variety.TED20 September 2012
4.0 star ratinglovely reef and sea. Very good and professional personnel at the diving center Nemo on the beach. The dive master Yasser and the others are really great and helpful... don't use the "limousine" transportation from the hotel. Payed 10 Euros (more or less 100 Egyptians Pounds) to go to Naama Bay while the real cost should have been half price (50 E.P.) .The car they gave us had a broken tire and broke on the out, had to share another cab with an egyptian family....on the back we had to wait 30 minutes and the same cab that had the tire problem bursted it 1 km from the hotel...and we had to walk... Mr. Sherif who organizes the trips offered us only 20% discount on the next trip....that we did not accepet. The Pharmacy near the hotel asked us 20 Euros (more or less 200 E.P.) for 2 medicines that we discovered costed 14 E.P. instead... Thanks to the general manager Mr. Gamal we had those 20 Euros back.. 5.0 star ratingWe stayed at this hotel during May 2014 and really loved it. I am not the staying at the hotel type, but we didn't leave the hotel for the entire trip. The hotel was really clean, rooms cleaned everyday. In the room there was a fridge with drinks (for free for fully inclusive), kettle and the room itself was really spacious as was the bathroom. The meals are all buffet style, choose what you want from local cuisine to european style. The great thing was that there was a kids corner of just plain pasta or pasta with tomato sauce which was great for us. There was a good mix of families, couples and singles at the hotel. There are 5 pools, massive amount of space. Recommend the aqua park, the slides in the pics are only for the grown up slides but there are lots more children slides and the kids loved it. The amphitheatre was a great ambience and there was a childrens disco everynight - kids liked it, who am I to complain. The hotel also has a private beach with snorkeling and you can have a dive (pay extra). Didn't get harassed at all by the staff, they were totally awesome. I would definitely come back again. For fully inclusive all drinks snacks hotdogs throughout the day were free. We also got a bottle of water in our room every morning free. Brilliant!!Wifi - $9 an hour. I was a bit annoyed at first as all 5* hotels I know do it for free, but as the week went on I was quite relieved there was no wifi and my phone wasn't buzzing with annoying emails. It was actually liberating. Also the hotel was 80% Russian tourists. I didn't mind but if you are wanting to go there to make friends, there won't be many English people about.
