4.5 star ratingWe were late night arriving but nothing was any bother for staff they were great. Everybody was friendly. Fantastic time in the pool bar trying all the cocktails. Pool staff were very attentive and friendly. We met lots of people from all over the world and we had a great time. It's a taxi ride to the nearest busy area but here was enough restaurants on site if you just wanted a weeks relaxing and romantic holiday. We were so lucky we caught sight of 3 different kinds of monkeys and was lucky on our last day to be able to feed them as one of the staff was feeding them when we were there so he let us feed them, it was great they took the food from your hands even though they were wild. There was also the opportunity to see different species of birds. Overall I would recommend this place.Got bitten badly by moscito,s in the room at night. Found out later we should have told staff and they would have sprayed the room. Also do not leave open food in room as we had very small ants get into the open food so had to throw it all away. Not sure if this was because of the torrential rain they had the weeks previous to our arrival. Lizabi07 May 2011
2.5 star ratingLocation - beautiful views overlooking the beach Food - breakfast choice was rubbish. Arrived at 10 and was told the egg station had already closed when breakfast goes until 10:30 Facilities - everything's closed "under refurbishment" so there was no where to eat at the hotel, no bat etc Wifi - only works in the lobby no where else and the lobby is boiling hot no matter what time you go in there so it is uncomfortable to sit in there to even use the wifi Sophie12 July 2016
1.5 star ratingIt would have been a nice hotel when it was builtLiterally everything is falling apart. It's not a 5 star hotel.. Or even a 2 star hotel! You can't charge anything to your room & you have to pay cash or card for everything immediately. The overall vibe of the hotel is: creepy, broken & deserted. We were literally waiting for the star of the hotel horror film we were in to jump out from behind a broken building with a chainsaw or something... We ate dinner alone with no other guests. The Internet didn't work in the business lounge, there were no printing facilities and nothing had been updated since 2009. Prices were ridiculous for what it was. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.Louise26 February 2016
