1.5 star ratingWe did not stay at this hotel as it had been over-booked. The man on reception was at first unhelpfull but eventually got us transfered to another hotel.11 December 2009
3.5 star ratingApologies for the 3 Fire alarms that went off during the night, and offer of breakfast Staff polite & Acknowledged you in corridorsWarnings about the night club and the time its on until, Very dusty around carpet edges - infact the carpet was grey with dust14 December 2009
3.5 star ratingThe room was good value for money and the facilities were good. Two of the lifts did not work during my stay. Not good if you are elderly and on an upper floor. The food was, in my opinion, overpriced, and in any case not everyone eats a 3 course evening meal so there should be a snackbar. joe24 September 2011
4.0 star ratingNice clean hotel, spacious rooms, good staff service very friendly lots of space in room - very well equipped.Room 120 - has a water issue during the night the toilet makes a water pressure noise - had to switch the water of in the toilet cistern every night to get a sleep. Food in the pizza restaurant was really poor - garlic bed like cardboard and a baked potato that had seen a few weeks in the keep warm oven - only ate once at the venue.... that was enough.SHERGAR05 November 2011
3.5 star ratingIts spacious, rooms are well equipped, still has some charm about it. for the money its great value. i stay they evey month and asl long as you dont ex[ect 5 star, in your face treatment its good , staff are always helpful, except for last december when they seemed to always lose my bookings. but i will use it again as the rooms and beds are big and the family rolots of transient overnight and coach parties staying as its near the airport. can be noisy as the bar is always full and they have weddings on every week. however once your above 2nd floor its not an issue. cheap and worth it for a 3star . 03 April 2012
3.0 star ratingGood for staying night before or after holiday flight - we stayed here the night before our holiday and had a lovely room in main part of hotel.Hotel booking office booked us in for the wrong month so hotel had no record of our booking when we arrived! As a result we were given a walk-in room at back of hotel which was very small and noisy in the morning! Also the lifts at back of hotel are antiquated and don't feel safe to use so we had to carry all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs!!Petesy Boy08 March 2013
2.5 star ratingPrice of hotel was good so i wasnt dissapointed although taxi into town is 15pound so i would reccomend the bus.Was greeted at checkin with enormous queue of people.Reception staff didnt quite seem to know what they were doing and each guest was at reception at least 5mins that is if they could find your name, hotel is looking a little tired.Bathroom had the customary curly hairs in it.Miller00704 December 2013
3.5 star ratingClean; decent shower and no noise or disturbance through the night. Can't comment on the food as didn't eat and didn't spend any time in the bar or in the gym/pool. Would stay again and thought it was good value.Minor gripe in that it was unexpectedly v busy when I arrived at 8pm on a Tuesday night and I queued for about 5 minutes before being able to check in. 3.0 star ratingStaff was fairly helpfulInside was like an nursery home for the elderly. Has no class Anonymous 04 April 2014
1.5 star ratingThe shower was powerful and hot.No working heating (in November!) - had to ring reception three times to get someone to Come up (off my own phone as of course, the phone didn't work either) Cold, dingy, dirty room - cobwebs, dust. Only one plug socket Hairdryer overheated and melted - started smoking - front desk could not have cared less. Mould in bathroom window. It appears this 'side' of the hotel is so old that it isn't cared about. A staff member told me that everyone complains about this side yet no one does anything about it. Utter waste of money. 1.5 star ratingThe staff were very welcoming and professional. The hotel was nowhere near the standard I expected for the price. It was very run down. The room was very small and not praticable for use with only 1 socket. I would not recommend this hotel. Matt06 June 2017
