4.5 star ratingVery friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend the hotel to everybody. Also very convenient transport links as the Airlink 748 runs door to door with the airport.12 October 2008
4.0 star ratingClean and tidy with pleasant, helpfull staff. Based approximately a 20 minute walk from O'Connel street we enjowed the walk into the city centre. However should the weather be inclement then the bus station was situated across the road and a tram stop was close by.For the short stay we had we did not find anything really negative abouth the hotel23 February 2009
2.5 star ratingThe entrance to the hotel is at the back whilst the construction is taking place. I do not understand why the bird droppings by the entrance to the hotel are not removed. 25 March 2009
4.0 star ratingVery friendly staff, clean room, reasonable cost - for Dublin! Breakfast was a bit like a school dinner, let people serve themselves if they prefer. Also sausages were dreadful, but that is a usual fault with hotels.Solo business.19 May 2009
4.5 star ratingBeautiful decor and furnishings in the reception and restaurant areas. This hotel was exceptionally clean and modern. Our room was spotless and serviced each day and the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and approachable. Quite in the evenings, no problem in getting off to sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was much appreciated. Flat screen tvs in all the bedrooms. This hotel has changed beyond recognition and for the better.Nothing much happening in this area in the evening. You need to walk 15 - 20 mins into town or travel in on the LUAS (tram, 1.50 euro single) for entertainment and taxi back. The menu outside the hotel does not reflect the higher prices inside nor does it make clear that there is food served in the bar area. There were not too many people in the restaurant or bar and given that this was a Saturday night and the amount of people in the hotel we found this strange. Large tv in the bar showing sport. Areas overlooked by the windows at the back bedrooms contained some rubble and building materials but work in the hotel appears to be ongoing. We did not hear any building noise while we were there. I was very impressed by this hotel. 19 May 2009
5.0 star ratingA very beautiful hotel and a much better standard than the hotels that are closer to Temple Bar. Nothing negative about the hotel but the celtic music trio in the lounge spent more time talking to themselves than performing, even though they had a very attentive audience who would have loved for the atmosphere to get more lively.manchester30 August 2009
3.5 star ratingPleasant 15 minute walk to centre of town but enough of a distance to be quiet. Great positioning for Heuston Station and Guinness Factory. £5 taxi journey to centre or tram. £25 taxi to airport.Took a pre-authorisation from me at check-in and then when I went to the bar, they insisted they didn't have my credit card details which was worrying. Room starting to look tired. 16 September 2009
