The beach hotel has a splendid location on a sandy beach. Tunis-Carthage International Airport is situated around 70 km away.Renovated in 2009, the hotel is perfect for families or couples because of its environment and infrastructure. The hotel has 447 double, triple and family rooms in 3 buildings with 3 lifts. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception service and currency exchange facilities. The hotel also features a hairdressing salon, auditorium, games room and kids' club. The café, bar, pub and restaurant provide food and drinks. For additional fees, guests may make use of the WLAN Internet access and laundry service.All rooms have a balcony or terrace with a sea, pool or garden view. Each is en suite and comes equipped with hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and a safe.The hotel provides a range of leisure facilities, including outdoor swimming pool, children's swimming area, aqua fit, aerobics, gym and steam room. Parasols have been laid out ready for use, and for additional fees, guests may relax in the sauna or with a massage. 2.5 star ratingnice garden terrace food good selection nice waiting staff in evening meal looked nice pool although did not swim offered dirty room initaially was not shoen my room, was told roughly and dismissingly where to go got lost, on finding my room after half an hour(carrying a 6 month year old baby) I was tired and not too impressed with the service . I was then shown my room , on first looking at it I wasnt overwhelmed, however after 5 mins I discovered I was given a room that looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in months, dirty bathroom,broken towel rail towels thrown on, broken shower unit, The balcony I was unable to sit dwn on the plastic chairs as they were dirty and hadnt bee washed dwn, either had the balcony glass or towel rail outside on the balcony all....dirty. when I eneterd back into the room i noticed the furniture had handprints and dirt on the furniture(obviously not been wiped down since the last guest stayed,I presume some months before as this room was at the back of the hotel facing a disused hotel and resembled cell block H. I noticed then the card that u insert into the light switch at the front door that keeps the electric on was faulty, and all the electric had failed, u would of needed to have replaced it into the holder every 5 mins. I immediately requested another room< this was then given after 20 mins and two phone calls to move me. Why was I not given this the second room initially??I was tired by this point and enjoyed my dinner. However in the morning at breakfast I found the staff rude,when i asked fro choc for my crep I was gicvn a VERY abrupt NO....and then preceeded to ignore me and chat away to a fellow Tunisian laughing and joking> I found this disgusting and terrible service !! When trying to finish my breakfast it was cleared away right under my nose,even the glass of ornage I was finishing,no question was asked had I finished???? I would not recommend this hotel to tourists, the locals seemed to enjoy it,however I personally did not enjoy my stay and was very happy to leave the next day and return back to Sousse, I am only thankful I did not book a week. I did speak to a british couple that had stayed a week however and they were happy to be leaving too, they had asked fro a lightbulb to be replaced, this was in their bedroom from day 1 this was ignored, they did mention no entertainment at night and was noisy with younger vistors and arabic. really not a brilliant hotel perhaps???we visited it at the wrong time??? I personally wld of rather been in Yassmine Hammamet, I felt quite isolated here,and we even had our own tunsian car with us.not happy29 March 2013
