Vai Moana in Rapa Nui language means Blue Sea is our tribute to the omnipresent ocean around the island, which inspires much of their culture. Vai Moana Center is the first hotel on the island and throughout America that has been certified within the Network of Biosphere Hotels by RTI (Responsible Tourism Institute, associated with the agency UNESCO) in recognition of our efforts to develop our activity in a responsible manner with the natural and cultural environment.Our facilities are arranged in a large garden setting with traditional architectural elements Tahai, just five minutes from downtown Hanga Roa and Ceremonial Tahai Archaeological Complex.
